Dr. Sean Michael Mcfadden, DO

To me, McFadden’s ethically-challenged and is of questionable competence. I was put with him for a work injury. My prior doctor took a leave of absence. The first words out of his mouth were “Mr. …, you’re going back to work!" I was released to work in Feb 2024. He apparently didn't read my file. He then came over and grabbed my arm and wrenched on it. It hurt a lot. His diagnosis: “right shoulder pain”. Pain’s a symptom, not a diagnosis. MRI: "Mild osteoarthrosis ... SLAP tear of the superior labrum ...". That's a diagnosis! His restrictions: "continue same restrictions permanent". Previous doc's restrictions: "light duty 10 lbs wt limit , ...". Restrictions on work accommodation form: “No lifting greater than 20 pounds”. What? He claims I've reached MMI though there're 4 treatment options. He didn't discuss any of them. Said: too old for surgery at 53, too bad about the pain, deal with it. One treatment option's highly recommended for work comp patients with this injury.

Needed quadriceps reattached, couldn’t come off blood thinner because of heart issues. He was able to do an excellent job while I was on the thinner, I would trust him with any ortho problems and seek him out. I trust this man.

Dr. McFadden and his staff at Jewitt Orthopedics are fantastic! I had my 3rd Orthovisc injection in my knee today. Hazel, his nurse, always has a smile on her face and a fun personality. Dr. McFadden genuinely asks me questions about my knee pain and listens to my answers. He is very easy to talk to! I highly recommend Dr. McFadden and his staff!!

My entire family has been treated by this very special doctor in many different ways for various treatments and surgeries (including my 100 year old mother) who went to him for her knee shots)! The above title tells it all as you don't think of your office visit as your typical "Doctor's appointment". No, it's much more than that...his caring manner, his fun sense of humor, quick witedness are all coupled with a brilliant evaluation of your medical problem(s). All of this provides you with immediate confidence in him for placing yourself in his most capable hands. He ;makes it fun too...an added plus in today's world!

An amazing surgeon with a wicked sense of humour which l love !!i l have have had three procedures all done by Dr McFadden( both shoulders and a knee replaced and every one super successful. l would highly recommend him to all.

He was very open, honest and truthful. He explained the damage to my knee, explained the course of action and later what was the outcome of the surgery and what were my options from there. He asked what my goals were athletically and then told me what I might be able to do physically in the best case scenario. It's what I needed to hear.

If your ex-ray dosen't show anything broken, or something he can do surgery on.. Then it dosent intrest him much. He much more intrested in the next time he can play Golf!!!

Excellent emergency responsiveness as well. Great good humor; explains issues thoroughly.
