Dr. Seema Gadiwalla

Dr. Gadiwalla is arrogant and condescending, but the bigger problem is that she doesn't listen to the patient. She makes quick decisions based on I'm not sure what. If you present facts that put her decision in question, she becomes defensive and goes on the attack. She ridiculed me for asking questions and made changes to my medication after seeing me one time. I've changed doctors and it's been a process to undo what she did. This doctor is authoritarian- she wants to tell you what to do and doesn't consider your input valuable and definitely doesn't consider you part of the team in your healthcare. She's a very poor practitioner of medicine.

Dr. Gabriella has been my primary care physician for many years. I have always found here to be friendly and knowledgeable. She maintains contact with me and follows up on any concerns she or I have concerning my health. I have trusted her with my health for many years and have never been disappointed.

I recently requested a refill on a maintenance medication. She denied it because she said I hadn't been there for a year and I needed an appointment first. Meantime, no call about this and I ran out of the medication. I now (only 2 days later) have an outbreak. Called again and explained the situation and have received no call back today. She is condescending and doesn't want to make referrals to specialists. She is uncaring. Worst doctor I have had in my life and I'm 60 years old. I will be finding another doctor.

Dr. Gadiwalla was very condescending and seemed annoyed by the questions and concerns raised to her during a visit for a family member with advanced cancer. This was very distressing at such a difficult time when family and caregivers are trying to make the best medical decisions possible based on her recommendation, which she kept repeating was to speak with an oncologist as our concerns were no longer internal medicine-related. I ask why, then, does she continue to make follow-up appointments instead of advising us to discontinue her care? Also, when I tried to confirm with her if she could be contacted by phone (a receptionist had told me she does not take phone calls), she very rudely told me that no one on her team would tell me that. I felt as if she were making me out to be a liar which I had no reason to do so. I only wanted to clarify the best mode of contact so as to reach her with any immediate concerns for my sick family member.

I can spend 5 minutes with Dr. Gadiwalla and feel as if it has been 30 minutes. She is clear and concise with directions, warm and friendly and up to date on the latest procedures. Her diagnoses are accurate and well-thought.

Seems good but felt very rushed as tho I was just another appt not a person.
