Dr. Seema A Gupta, MD

She is the 3rd ophthalmologist I have seen is 6 weeks + an optometrist. I had 4 different prescriptions and none worked until I saw her. She is not particularly outgoing but very careful. I was in the office 3 1/2 hours but finally walked out with a great set of contacts and I could not be happier. As an MD I rarely write reviews of any kind on colleagues but I am so grateful that she heard what I was saying and did a careful and thorough visit. I will definitely refer my patients to her. (PS I don't need warm and fuzzy-I need competent!)

I don't understand the bad reviews. I have found Dr. Gupta to be polite, responsive and willing to take extra time to answer my questions.

New patient - I visited Dr. Gupta for a couple of reasons; a bump inside my eye and wanted a comprehensive exam as my regular optometrist recommended it due to enlarged optical cups. Dr. Gupta is the most unprofessional and rude healthcare professional I have encountered in a long time. She is not a good listener, not attentive and definitely not a good communicator. The exam took only 5 minutes. This practice environment is not patient oriented at all. Very disappointing...never again!

Dr. Gupta has the personality and bedside manner of a dead fish. She is rude, abrupt, disrespectful and does not take time to listen to your questions. The office staff is outstanding but there is another dr. in the office so the credit must go to that dr. because Dr. Gupta should not be a dr. She should work a job where she has no contact with people, especially people with a problem.
