As an older women it is difficult to go to doctor for female problems. Dr. Suede made me feel at ease and comfortable. Explained reasons for the problems and gave remedies to correct. I left feeling very well taken care of. She is very knowledgeable and kind. I would recommended her ,especially for shy patient.

After every appointment I was always confused despite me asking a million questions. She would literally write all these things that I needed to do on a small sticky note.I also did not feel supported or comfortable with her. She didn’t take the time to educate me on anything, and was always rushing. I don’t want To say she’s rude, but there was absolutely no empathy shown.

Had me scared to death something was wrong with the baby or myself the whole time.

I had been diagnosed with precancerous cells on my cervix right before I was going to start college so naturally I had to visit a specialist. Immediately she starts telling me if I want to have kids to do it prior to surgery. I thought she was just joking and given my diagnosis I would think that would take priority over having a child immediately. I was a freshman in College and she did a LEEP procedure to remove the surface cells of the cervix; during that follow up she was fantastic. That was until we found that there were MORE cells she had missed because they were deeper in the cervix. Again, she started pressuring me to have a child before the surgery and when I told her I was more concerned with the cancer cells she basically told me I was never going to be able to have children after my next procedure which at 18-19 years of age and you're thinking of a family is hard to digest. It took years for me to come to grips with what she said and then my new OB basically told me… that yeah it would be hard but NOT impossible. Hence the not so great score on bedside manor. She ended up scheduling me a cold cone biopsy where she removed 1/3 of my cervix. I have yet to have a bad PAP since (this being 4 years now) However after the cold cone biopsy I had problems and complications that she passed to her lesser than friendly vacation stand in at the time. When I had a gland on my labia become infected she misdiagnosed me with herpes without even doing a blood test (which I took at my Primary doctor the next day and later found out I was negative for), and one day (about 2 or 3 days after surgery) I woke up and my entire bed was covered in blood and I was sick to my stomach. She declined to see me until my appointment the following month. I went to the school nurse and she gave me some techniques to make the bleeding stop. She did a great job when it came to surgery and taking my fears into question and my pain tolerance not being so high and making sure I was comfortable. Then, however, after my procedures were done she didn't do much for me.
