Dr. Serena Mistry

Serena is not equipped with the medical expertise to treat rare conditions. I am a twenty six year-old type-one diabetic who sought treatment for an endocrine-related brain tumor that caused me to lose my health, my career, my appearance, my ability to pay bills, miss my only sisters wedding, and cause complete loss of most body functions. I had MRI scans to prove it. I had symptoms and blood work to prove it. I have had diabetes for twenty years, was a personal trainer prior to this condition, and have multiple nutrition certifications. My parents were in medicine and I read books about diabetes for fun. I know how to manage diabetes. I told her all of this. She didn’t care about a thing I said. By this point I was severely physically ill, fat, and no longer attractive. How could I possibly be smart too? Instead of listening, she ordered a section for mental distress believing I was mentally ill and lazy, and not a woman who had her life stolen by a brain tumor. This section took… place the evening before a national holiday and caused severe worsening of all of my health conditions. She’s sweet, but no doctor. I feel sorry for all the patients experiencing her “well-intentioned” malpractice.
