Dr. Sergio Jesus Jacinto, MD

This office is nearly impossible to get ahold of, you will have to call 20 times in a row and then maybe you will reach someone. I had to personally drop off my sons records as they were unable to accept a fax that was sent 4 times. The office is never running on time and you will have to wait. I gave 2 stars because the Doctor himself is actually great, but it is not worth it to deal with the actual office. I was not even called after my son had a brain MRI, I had to call 4 times to find out. Do not recommend and they need someone to oversee the operations of this office.

Secretaries and medical assistance were very unfriendly. Everybody seem bothered from the moment we walked into the office building. The PA was not polite also seem bothered. Drive all the way across town because of a referral to Dr. Jacinto meanwhile I’m seeing a very unfriendly PA and a very unfriendly medical staff and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Left office feeling very unwelcome and feeling like my son and I were a bother to them. Our appointment was at 12:30 didn’t get brought back till one the office was empty obviously everybody was at lunch never once has any of the appointments been on time. Just really unhappy w all together service! Wish Dr . Jacinto was there bc he wouldn’t put up w these situations. Sad when ur son leaves saying everyone there seems so unhappy.

?? Took my 11 year old daughter there .. it was So horrible my child was in tears he made her feel uncomfortable!! And was very rude as she tried to explain the headach she has . He even slammed his notebook down aggressively. He will be reported to the right authorities over this! He was not professional at all.

We love Dr Jacinto! My son has been seeing him for the last few years and I can’t imagine seeing any other nephrologist for my child. His interaction with kids is incredible and makes everyone feel at ease. One of the best in Tampa! Wish my specialist were this kind!

Dr. Jacinto although strong willed and energetic from my observation per experience with him and our 1st time visit with our 9month old grandaughter ; is by far a unique physician. I am very happy to be Blessed with this man as he is one of great stature and knowledge of which will be helping us with our grandaughter. His staff at the Brandon office also seem to reflect him as well. The office is clean and has a very friendly atmosphere.

Best neurologist ever. My daughter has been diagnosed by multiple professionals as ADD (focus) but he immediately knew it wasn’t that and gave proper life-saving diagnosis. I am forever indebted to this man. So grateful to have found him. He’s honest and straightforward and has incredible knowledge. Love him!!

Dr. Jacinto is a lifesaver. He recognized things that other docs had missed for YEARS and probably saved my child’s life. So grateful to this man for his knowledge and honesty.

Terriable

Dr. Jacinto was awesome!!! This is the first doctor to actually listen to my concerns and actually took the extra steps to put my mind at ease. A few months later my daughter was scheduled for a follow up appointment and ironically my newborn was having some complications... his pediatrician called Dr. Jacinto right away and asked if he could fit my newborn in with my daughters follow up appointment and he said yes absolutely let’s check him out as soon as possible! He was great with the kids very friendly and really took his time in evaluating. He was very thorough and took his time with my kids! At the end of the appointment I again thanked him for fitting my baby in because his waiting room was at it’s full capacity. His response was “ of course! The last thing a worried mother wants to hear is that they have to wait a month to get an appointment for their child after witnessing something so scary! This is why my waiting room is so busy.” His response is something that will stick… with me forever. We need more doctors that care as much about their patients! People that are complaining about wait times may not know the reasoning behind waiting! He takes his time with patients and he’s awesome! Thank you Dr. Jacinto!

1st red flag. I scheduled an appt for my son which we werent seen til 2 hours later. My son was diagnosed with adhd 3yrs ago he was placed on a mild medication which improved his attention and focus and now hes an A/B student where as before he was a C student. His previous neurologist made it so hard for us to refill his prescription i would have to take off of work and take him out of school just to pick up the prescription so we decided yo switch. I brought him to Dr. Jacinto and he says to me in 5min your son is fine he doesnt have ADHD look at how calm he is. He was so serious. I said Doctor my kid is well behaved and doesnt bounce off the walls at the age of 11 anymore but he does have the condition and it more so affects him in school. He said he doesnt have it im not prescribing anything for him today go get blood work done and i need alll of his report cards since kindergarten and come back in a month. So i missed work, sat in the office for 2hrs past my appt all for Dr… Jacinto to tell me my son is fine because he wasnt "acting" like someone with ADHD. DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO HIM. He should have done a thorough exam and read my sons records and if he requires all this extra stuff it should have been mentioned when i set up my appt.
