Dr. Seth C Sands

They don't make them like Dr. Sands anymore. You aren't just another 15 minute patient time slot to him. He takes the time to get to know you and your history and he is genuinely invested in your health and healing. He talks to you and makes sure he understands your concerns and that you understand the treatment he is prescribing. He'll even tell a bad joke now and then to keep you smiling. He will work with you until your feeling healthy and strong again. It's good to know you have an advocate with his medical knowledge and caring concern. I highly recommend for anyone looking for that personal primary physician.

Dr. Sands has been taking care of my family for years. He is thorough and kind. He is a trusted expert my family has relied on.

Please find someone else. He does not do a thorough assessment, and he is very condescending, a complaint which the receptionist confirmed as having been made multiple times. After my awful appointment I was upset. While explaining the situation to the office manager, he barged into the private room and demanded that I speak to him directly. He stood in front of the door and REFUSED TO LEAVE when asked multiple times. It was creepy, scary, and completely unprofessional. Just do yourself a favor, there are plenty other good doctors out there - find one of them. Such a shame because I've had other good doctors at the same practice. I don't know why they allow him to be a part of their team.

I can't say enough great qualities about Dr. Seth Sands. Always compassionate, the doc knows his limitations and sends me to the best! When frustrated by ongoing eye problems, he recommended Dr Francis Clark, who was a miracle worker, very interested, caring, and dedicated to my final welfare.

We love this doctor for our family and have been seeing him for years. He is not a doctor that panics and over reacts, but is judicious with your energy and spending.

My wife and I have the same insurance. We both had similar conditions (bad cough). She saw her primary care physician. I saw Dr. Sands. Her bill post the insurance adjustment was $73. Mine was $107. Her condition was actually worse than mine. I asked Dr. Sands multiple times for an explanation as to why my bill was $34 more expensive (almost 50% more). He finally had the 'office manager' call. Dr. Sands and his practice will do whatever they can to ensure they submit the highest claim amount to your insurance. It is not about patient care with Dr. Sands and his practice. It's about making $. I would highly recommend another Dr.

Dr. Sands has been our family doctor and I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Dr. Sands has too close of a relationship with his computer. So close he has forgotten how to interact with patients.

My symptoms were dismissed as a result of my weight problem. I find his bedside manner to be lacking and wish he would wipe the spittle from the corners of his mouth. I prefer to see a doctor who will treat me like a patient, not judge me on my weight and chastise me for causing my own medical problems.
