Dr. Shahab Uddin Kidwai, MD

Filled out pt. info form & explained how I was struck by a car 26 yrs ago, but dr didn't apparently look at, since I was asked why I was there. Was diag. with seizures which this dr insists i do not have. All this after waiting over an hour to be called in.

EXTREMELY disappointed with Dr. Kidwai! If you have any other options I really suggest you take it. I scheduled my appointment as one of his first to avoid waiting so long , but I still had to wait in his tiny waiting room with not enough chairs for everyone to sit for almost two hours. Once I am finally in the room with him he comes in and does not shut the door which I found it odd since everyone in the waiting room would hear our conversation. He then asks me a couple questions and prescribes me a medication. When I explained to him that I would rather take some tests (EEG, MRI, etc) instead of just shoving down medications every day he got very loud and rude stating that he was the doctor and new best. I literally left in tears and embarrassment with no answers to my migraines. I will NEVER go back and I don't suggest you do either.

I want to thank Dr. Kidwai for doing a excellent job and saving my moms life in October. He had a great bedside manor, explained everything to us so we could understand it. He checked on her frequently and made sure she was comfortably. I would refer him to anyone who needs it. It was so great that we didn't have to go to Syracuse for this surgery. Its nice to know that there is a great Doctor right here in Watertown.

I was a little hesitate of coming after reading the 2 reviews on this site. I am so pleased with our experience with the doctor and his receptionist who is his wife. She was very pleasant and courteous and professional. Always smiling. Office very clean. Can't say enough about the dr. He listens, concerned, let's u ask questions and takes his time and doesn't rush. Unfortunately my husband was diognoised with Parkinson's and I was very upset. He made me feel at ease and said we will take this one step at a time. I strongly recommend him to everyone who needs his experience in neurology. Don't hesitate! He is awesome! Someone u can trust!

My experience with this dr. has been by far the worst service ever. Dr. Kidwai wife works in the office& is extremely rude. I rec'd a bill in the mail from them that i was unable to pay when calling about it I was told by his wife that I do a horrible job of paying my bills. Extremely disrespectful and rude. i would never go again. Please chose a different doctor and do yourself a favor.

Unprofessional! That is the first word that comes to mind when I think of this M.D! Don't even waste your time with suppling them with your past medical history, seem to not care about it. Which you would think to be pretty important! Rude to patients and very unprofessional! P.S I will never go back to this joke they call a Doctor!
