Dr. Shahdokht Shadee Toomari, PsyD

I discovered I was in deep depression leading a wasteful life for a long time and had no idea what was the cause of my wrong decisions. Medication and trials didn't help much. Finally I went to Ms. Toomari, due to having subsidized lower fees, since I was strapped financially. When I met her, I was very skeptical. She was the older generation of Dr's educated mostly in Iran, and although I spoke Farsi, I have basically been raised in US, and didn't think she was able to help me. To my surprise after several sessions,, and her listening to my beginnings in Iran: My subsequent migration to US, my extreme success and then downfall, she made comments that lit up in my head like a light bulb. It turned out my problems had roots to my early years and her being familiar with my culture was able to pin point them and help me. It is years later and I have never had a chance to thank her. I am planning to get in touch and re-connect for refreshment.

Not sure how to put this into words or where to start. How about... “she helped me find my way home; and by home I mean within. This woman truly changed my life, for which I’m forever grateful for.”

She is the most destructive therapist you or your family members can go to. Stay away. She will destroy your relationships and your family to make more money.
