Dr. Shahnoos Mahdavi, MD

Both my husband and I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Mahdavi either during my husband’s inpatient stay at Saddleback Hospital and later for myself as outpatients for my premenopausal journey. I cannot thank her enough, as she truly saved both my husband’s and my life in two different ways. She is incredibly warm, caring, and compassionate, with outstanding knowledge and skill. Her bedside manner is wonderful, and she follows up with genuine passion and dedication to her patients’ well-being. As a physician myself, I truly appreciate her professionalism, attention to detail, and the way she combines expertise with empathy. Dr. Mahdavi is an exceptional doctor, and we feel very fortunate to find her.

Dr. Mahdavi is a great physician. She pays attention to details and has a lot of empathy with patients. I had a great experience with her services at the Mission Hospital. I was diagnosed with lung infection and she took a great care of me. She has great bedside manner and explained everything in details to help me cope with my medical condition.I highly recommend her.

Dr. Shahnoos Mahdavi, MD possesses an exemplary bedside manner. She is an angel in a medicinal white-coat. It is beyond refreshing to be the patient of a Dr. who both: actively listens to their patient's concerns, and then acts on them. She is a true patient advocate. I highly and unequivocally recommend her. I was admitted to Mission Hospital in April 2023, to have surgery performed on my broken R-femur. Post-surgery, in the room I was assigned to recuperate in, Dr. Mahdavi, and nurses assigned to me, were discussing my medication needs. I spoke up, reiterating information regarding the potency difference between generic vs brand name medications. Dr. Mahdavi heard what I said, and sided with me, regarding my insistence on taking brand name medicines ordered for me, stating, "what she says makes sense." In other words she listened to me, gaining my full trust. Dr. Mahdavi looks at the whole patient's needs (physical and emotional well-being). Thanks to Dr. Mahdavi's caring and… compassionate nature, for the first time in a long time, I felt that all of my healthcare concerns were adequately addressed. Dr. Mahdavi possesses the important skill-sets of: active listening and comprehension. Dr. Mahdavi additionally understands the crucial impact a patient's mental well-being has on their physical health; that when these two aspects (above) are nurtured, overall physical well-being is the final outcome. ??

I just wanted to say that Dr. Shahnoos Mahdavi is an Angel who saves people lives. When I came back from Stanford after receiving the bone marrow transplant, I was so weak and bruised and my body had no immune system at all. I was coming back from fighting two types of blood cancers at the same time. After a few weeks I got the lung infection and also Graft Versus Host Disease and ended to the Saddle Back Hospital where Dr. Mahdavi was in charge. When I could open my eyes in ICU, I saw the Guardian Angel, who has already saved my life with on-time diagnose, great manner and professionalism. In fact, I could have the last minutes of my life since one of my lungs failed and the other was working improperly. I would like to thank her for all the care she has given me while I was impatient at the hospital. I really can’t find the words to express my gratitude for her kindness, caring, support, love and of course her exceptional and extraordinary skills, she has been touched by God.

Dr Mahdavi is an amazing doctor! Knowledgeable, empathetic, very organized and persistent.She changed my life with providing me with excellent medical care.

She lacks medical knowledge and has poor bedside manner. Stay away.
