I visited Dr Lakshman's office to have stitches removed from my chin, and he instead recommended what I am certain was unnecessary and over-the-top surgery. I got 7 stitches from the ER and thought a plastic surgeon would be the best place to go to have them removed. My dentist had seen my chin and said that I was healing nicely. Dr Lakshman, the next day, said that the ER did a "terrible job" and that my wound would "fall apart" if he took the stitches out. He said he needed to put me under anesthesia and and "clean it up" and scheduled a surgery at a surgical center. (The surgery center called me in advance-not to warn me about surgery with a concussion but to aggressively ask for my credit card.) Instead, I went to my primary care doctors office and had my stitches removed without incident. They were impressed at how well I had healed and actually commented on what a nice job the ER had done with the stitches. Nothing "fell apart" and there's hardly any scaring.

Just had my very first Botox injections. I was extremely nervous and am deathly afraid of needles. Dr. Lakshman put my fear at ease by explaining that they use the thinnest needles possible imported from Japan. It must have been really thin because I barely felt a thing. The procedure was less painful than a facial extraction!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Lakshman. He performed a tendon transfer on my hand a few years ago with great results. I have 100% normal use of my hand again and I didnâ??t think that would be possible. I was so impressed with his work that I considered no one else for cosmetic work I had done last year. Again, I couldnâ??t be happier with the results. Not only is Dr. Lakshman a gifted surgeon, he also takes as much time as needed to go over all aspects of the procedures and answer questions. I felt that I was well prepared for the aftermaths of both surgeries. His wife, Dr. Frenchman, is also a great doctor who quickly develops a good rapport with her patients. Together, they are a Dream Team!
