Dr. Shannan Christie Ross, MD

Dr Ross is amazing and really spends time going over important things. I will continue to be a patient as long as she's a provider

I have been going to Dr. Ross for over 5 years now and look forward to my annual because she is so spot on with me. I have referred 4 other women to her and they all have told me many thanks for finding her. In fact, they thank me every time they go still! She is a fantastic doctor and is excellent in giving that woman-to-woman feedback that doesn't come so naturally to others. Dr. Ross is highly sought after for this and I suspect that is why it can take 2 months to get an appointment with her. She is very much worth the wait!

Dr. Shannan Ross is a horrible OB. She is cold, uncaring, dismissive and rude. She has NO bedside manner. While some people might like her blunt attitude, I do not and don't feel that someone with her nasty personality has any business handling my pregnancy or delivery of my baby. Out of the other OB's in her practice, she is the worst. Dr. Bellante is MUCH nicer and acts like she actually cares, try to go to her instead of Dr. Ross who acts as if you are inconveniencing her and does not care about you!

I have to see Dr. Ross, because currently she is 1 of the 4 doctors that may deliver my baby. She comes off as very arrogant and uncaring. I have seen her twice during my pregnancy and each time she makes me feel bad for not knowing things I have never been told. This is my first pregnancy and she has scoffed at my questions and treated me like I was an idiot. I am over 20 weeks pregnant and I have decided to find a different OB, because I do not want nor do I feel comfortable having this woman deliver my baby.

Dr. Ross is wonderful when it comes to making me feel comfortable and helping me to understand the answers to any questions I have. She is quite efficient but I wouldn't say she hurries through my appointments. I have been seeing her for 5 years, and I have nothing bad to say about her. I will mention I have not gone through the process of pregnancy with her yet.

I was a high risk pregnancy patient at the Medina OB practice and unfortunately had to see Dr. Shannan Ross who was extremely rude to me, made me cry on several occasions, botched my c-section delivery by cutting me open when my epidural failed and she did it with A CAST ON HER ARM that she was using to cut me open. She made my whole experience horrible. Towards the end of my pregnancy I was in bad pain and told her during an exam. She proceeded to yell at me in front of my husband & mother & was very rude. I wish I would've found another dr, I've never had a worse one as her. Trust me, she doesn't care about you, you are just a paycheck to her!

This doctor said I'd never seen her before, I've been a patient for 2 years! I was diagnosed with a hemorragic cyst in ER I was vomiting and bleeding in pain bad enough to require reqular pain meds for control. I was put off for a week for the appt then told it wasn't bleed to take vitamins and get pregnant....Find another doctor! This one doesn't care

Very knowledgable and professional. I've recommended her to others. Only thing I don't care for is having to phone in to a recorded message for test results.

I had never been to an obgyn before and was only 15 when my mom took me to see Shannan Ross. I was kind of freaking out, but she was super relaxed with me and made me feel more at ease because she didnt make things feel awkward. She definitely knew exactly what she was talking about and explained things thoroughly. She diagnosed me properly with what I came there about and instead of giving me one straight option or what to do she explained everything and gave me options. Overall, I really liked her because she was easy to talk to, relaxed, and she knew her stuff.

Dr. Ross is a great doctor. She is very thorough, and straight forward. She is my favorite doctor at Medina OB/GYN!
