Dr. Shannon Lawrance Pitman, MD

Dr. Pittman is very rude and arrogant. He made me feel like I didn't know anything and reprimanded me for not taking medicine that he had prescribed. He was not willing to listen and seemed to be in a hurry to get me out, so I didn't discuss all the things I would have liked to with him. He is not a very caring, warm person. His nurse is worse than him. She has NO personalilty and not at all professional. She does not greet you with a smile or a "Hi, how are you." She does not appear to me to know much about nursing. Not a good medical office. I am looking for another doctor. Would not recommend him to anyone.

this person was not interested in listening to you, only in letting you know how great he was. he was very opinionated to say the least. will not go back.

This place is only concerned with make Another appointment and then wait and wait! No one was in the waiting room yet I still haven’t seen the doc and it’s been 35 minutes already. He is extremely rude and self centered. I would switch but my insurance company dictates who I can go to since there aren’t any thyroid specialists in the area!

DR. PITMAN IS ARROGANT, RUDE, CONTROLLING AND A KNOW IT ALL. AND HE TALKS MORE THAN HE LISTENS TO PATIENT CONCERNS. AND HE CLAIMS HE IS A CHRISTIAN. HIS CHRISTIANITY YOU WOULD THINK, SHOULD HAVE SOME INFLUENCE ON HIS HORRIBLE MANNERS. HE GIVES HIS RELIGION A BAD NAME. HE HAS NO COMPASSION AND I THINK HE IS BI-POLAR OR HAS SERIOUS MENTAL ISSUES. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS MONSTER, AND WILL NEVER, EVER REFER PITMAN TO ANY ONE, NOT EVEN A DOG. HE IS THE WORST DOCTOR I'VE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY LIFE AND HIS PRACTICE SHOULD BE AUDITED AND SHUT DOWN. HE IS ONLY INTERESTED IN PEDDLING DRUGS, NOT GETTING YOU WELL--PITMAN IS A FRAUD.

Stop going to Dr Pittman because of billing issues leaving that along my parents still use him had to make call to his office for them they being elderly after 30min answering machine merry go rounds not being able to talked to know one and them not returning calls I gave up that tells me either they don't know what their doing or they don't care about there patients.

Staff is the worst I ever experienced for any medical professional

Hope I never have to go back to him. My whole family tried him several times. My daughter and I do not use him anymore. My spouse still uses him, but really not happy with him. Trying to get him to change. He is too controlling, doesn't want any other doctor to write your prescriptions. My spouse sees a cardiologist and he had written him a prescription and when Dr. Pittman checked him for a well check he said he was going to control all of the prescriptions. He doesn't like it if he refers you to someone else and you don't want to see that doctor and you find your own specialist then he is very upset. He spends too much time trying to impress and sometimes he is even rude. His nurse is horrible and his staff is rude. His nurse has no compassion for anyone. I hope that my daughter and I never have to see him again. I could go on, but hope you get the jest of how I feel about Dr. Pittman and his staff.
