Dr. Sharad Rajpal, MD

After multiple opinions from two orthopedic surgeons, a neurologist, and two non-surgical docs, I felt the short discussion with Dr. Rajpal was unique in his explanation and in line with my expectations. If I had to get stabbed with a knife in my sleep I'd wake up hoping it was Rajpal. L4-5 Microdiscectomy done in minimally invasive fashion. Incision a hair under an 1", and it has been said minimal lamina removal. Vickie in my opinion did an excellent job on the sutures I think the scar will be minimal. Clearly everyone's case will differ, but in my case after surgery I no longer suffered from sciatic nerve pain. I'm at week 4. Still have foot weakness but its said to subside in a few months to a year. Looking forward to full recovery and getting back into my sports. Thank you Team Rajpal.

He's a wonderful skilled neurosurgeon who helped me with my lumbar surgery. Can't say enough good things about both he and his top notch staff.

Saw him once for consultation on my back pain. Was told I have Spinal Stenosis and he sent me on to se Pain Management Specialists. He stated if they cannot do anything for me, they will send me back to him for surgery. I've since heard that pain management cannot help Spinal Stenosis which makes me wonder why he sent me on? Dr. Rajpal appears to be a very good doctor that cares about his patients and their concerns. The office staff made me feel like they didn't care. They were standoffish which made me very uncomfortable. I won't tell my name as I am going to see him again and don't want repercussions.

Dr. Rajpal is the best doctor I have ever met. He spent 2h with me explaining my condition and treatment options. I am from the Springs and the drive is very well worth it. The surgery scheduling time was very reasonable! I will not go see any other Neurosurgeon but him anymore. He is absolutely knowledgable, kind, and a very pleasant character. Nothing better could have happened to me than finding Dr. Rajpal! Surgery went very well. Outstanding work!

I recently had to have a fusion in my upper neck. I had never had any real surgery (other than a knee scope) in my life. When I was referred to Dr. Rajpal I had no idea what to expect. When my wife and I made our first visit we were both very impressed with Dr. Rajpal. His knowledge was incredible and he never once rushed us even with all of our questions. There was a potential for some complications (swallowing for one) which Dr. Rajpal had already told us about prior to the surgery. The day of the surgery Dr. Rajpal made me feel at ease as much as possible. The surgery went well and I didn't have any complications. We've had two follow up visits with Dr. Rajpal and I am now beginning physical therapy. I want to say thank you to Dr. Rajpal and his staff (which are also incredible to work with) for helping through this process. I am very thankful that I was referred to Dr. Rajpal.

I cannot recommend Dr. Rajpal highly enough. He is extremely competent, confident, patient, and thorough. He performed my complicated brain surgery flawlessly. Two years later, you would never believe I had ever had brain surgery. If, God forbid, you ever face brain surgery, rest your health in this man's very capable hands for your best possible outcome.

Dr. Rajpal is an amazing doctor! He is very knowledgeable and has a great bed-side manner. He was very thorough and explained things in a very clear and understandable way. I had had two previous Laminectomy surgeries with a previous doctor and recently had my third surgery, a fusion, with Dr. Rajpal. I was naturally concerned about recovering from my third surgery of the same area with all the scar tissue already present. But, to my delight the recovery was much easier and quicker than I had anticipated! My scar looks fantastic, especially for my third incision! Dr. Rajpal does such a great job before, during and after surgery. I have not felt this good in 3 years! It is amazing to not be in pain every second of everyday anymore! I am truly grateful to Dr. Rajpal for giving me my mobility back! I have already recommended Dr. Rajpal to several friends and family!
