Dr. Sharon Johnson Cathcart, DO

I went to Dr. Cathcart in the summer of 2009. She was rough with the exam, in fact it hurt! I bled for about 8 hours afterward. A year later I went back thinking she was just having a bad day. I asked her to be more gentle and she not only yelled at me, but was rude too! I wanted her to give me a hysterectomy from years of problems, and she wanted me to wait. It didn't seem to matter to her that I had a lot of pain. She was very good with her diagnosis, but her uncaring attitude made me find another wonderful doctor who did the surgery. She made me feel like I was an inconvenience and that I was too much work because of the extent of the work needed for surgery. I felt like she was more concerned that she would have to take more time with me and get paid the same from the insurance company than she would with someone less challenging. I have a friend that has had good experiences with Dr. Cathcart, but I did not. I will not see her again.
