Worse care ever. Saw the nurse practitioner. Don't contradict her or ask her questions. You will get attitude and ridiculed. I was coerced into signing up for cologuard even when I was not interested. I completed the test and waited two weeks for a call. When I finally called the receptionist told me she could not give me any information over the phone. I had to take time off to go to the office and when I got there I was told they did not have any results. I just turned around and left. Called cologuard directly and they advised the results had been sent electronically over two weeks ago. I was able to get the results directly from the company and sent it to my GP. In addition, I told the NP about a pain near my kidney. She began to educate as to where my kidneys were located and laughed at me because I had pointed lower. Turns out I had a kidney stone that was traveling from my kidney south. Ended up having surgery to remove the embedded stone. Please listen to your patients, don't… laugh at them and provide a professional atmosphere. Never once met the real doctor but if her office workers and NP are this unprofessional then not interested. Am going to Dr. Santiago now.

I have been going to Dr Ward for several years now. I do not have a problem with her. But after going back a little over a year I gave the office workers my new address and updated insurance. So they finally send me a bill that had been re routed from an old address that was marked over due. I called them and had to leave a message with the RN there who takes care of the billing. Nothing was resolved. So then I received a the same bill that was turned in to a collection agency. So I went to the office. They used the wrong insurance for my primary. So that needed to be addressed. In trying to explain this to them that I was a little upset that this was turned in to a collection agency after I called them to get it straightened out,,,I was treated very rudely by them .As they said we don't know why you are getting so upset about this. With much sarcasm and rudeness. so then I still receive another bill marked overdue from them. called back and left another message with the billing… nurse... waited over a week No call. so when I called them back same rudeness from the office workers. and she hung up on me. So I am not going back to Dr.Ward. No excuse for this treatment,,,I value my good credit rating..These people are just plain RUDE...

Have been going to Dr Ward for years now. First time a saw her she diagnosed a problem immediately that no other Doctor could. The fix was simply using a cream from time to time. She has always spent time taking about my body and the changes that are happening. She is through and personable. We are very lucky to have such a fine doctor in our community.

I have been seeing Dr Ward for many years and by far she is the best OGBYN in the Keys. She takes the time to talk to you and put you at ease with her

The doctor was the rudest and most inconsiderate doctor I've ever visited. Horrible experience !!!!

I had a routine mammogram and the radiologist found calcification, which sometimes means presence of breast cancer. They had me make another appointment for a more in-depth mammo, so they could decide which step to take next: 1. all's good, come back in 6 months for another mammo 2. do a biopsy to find out more I waited 8 days and the nurse from Dr. Sharon Ward's office called me to tell me that everything looked OK and to just come back in 6 months for another mammogram. That was great news, but overshadowed by the fact that the nurse would not stay on the phone so I could ask questions. She literally told me she didn't have time to answer questions! She spent a total of 38 seconds on the phone with me and answered the two questions I was able to ask in a hurried, annoyed tone, even tripping up on her own tongue because she was trying to talk so fast. She even threw out a phrase which she could not or would not explain: "there were the 9 features" I don't understand:… why is a stressed out unfriendly nurse calling me with this news anyway? When do I ever get to talk to the doctor herself? Who will answer my questions? I would not recommend this doctor even though I've never even met her, simply because she hires such terribly unhelpful nurses to make her phone calls for her.

no bedsides manner and "urgent" test results took a week.

Went to the office for new pt appt and staff was rude. Called to clarify issue and nurse told me "to have a nice life". Had new insurance with proof of enrollment and temporary card and was told that appt had to be rescheduled when actual card arrived. Called United heathcare and was told that the provider can call to verify enrollment. It was important to be seen right away and they didn't even care. Asked to talked to the doctor and was told no because wasn't a patient yet. Left message for the Dr. to call and was told by the nurse that she wouldn't be calling me back because I wasnt a patient yet. The nurse stated that she was the billing person, the nurse and the everything. Just wanted to be taken care of and had a horrible experience from the staff. Hope that Dr. Ward finds out how bad we were treated. My daughter's appt was 11:00 on Jan 7th.

I have always had a wonderful rapport with my doctors and unfortunately it ended here. They don't care about you as a patient, they talk at you and do not listen to anything you have to say. They are very dismissive, they act like they don't have time for you, and rush you out. They can have their precious time, I'm out!
