Shashidhar Acharya

I've been a patient of this doctor for many years and have the nothing but the best treatment from him. Also, his office staff is most helpful and will go out of their way to help you.

I've been seeing Dr. Acharya for about 20 years. In all that time, I've never had an unsatisfactory response from him or his staff. The practice is run in a timely, efficient and thorough manner.

Dr. Acharya was my pcp for several years. Although I respected his knowledge of medicine I have to say that he was aloof, cold, and appeared to feel that he was a more important person than his patients (the "God Complex"). I never felt that he treated me as part of the medical team. I regret not firing him but submitting to his humiliation over and over until I finally moved out of the area. If he could have just realized that he was a human being just like the rest of us I think we would have had a much more productive relationship. Sadly, it's my opinion that he considers himself to be superior to his patients and that is just not right. Would I see him again? Only to read this review to him and then I would leave.

Dr Acharya has been my doctor for over 20 years, and I continue to commute to see him, despite having moved to Arizona 6 years ago. He's compassionate, thorough, patient, a great listener, and kind. I've referred friends to him over the years and they've all been equally impressed. I highly recommend Dr Acharya, you won't be disappointed.
