Summary
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas, with 11 years of experience in the counseling field. I graduated in 2014 from Liberty University with a MA in Professional Counseling, and in 2010 from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BA in Psychology. I have experience with providing home-based counseling to justice-involved youth and their families and to youth and families involved in the child welfare system, counseling in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting and psychotherapy at a group practice. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have treated individuals with anxiety, depression, attachment difficulties, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and adjustment related challenges. I am comfortable and experienced with providing therapy to a diverse population. I typically practice from a client-centered approach because it's extremely important for me to provide therapy based on the needs of each client. I am a trained Trust-Based …and Relational Intervention (TBRI) practitioner. It's important for me to create an environment where a person feels safe, not judged, and understood. My style is authentic, and I will work with you collaboratively to figure out how to address your issues, using compassion.
