Dr. Shawn Michael Roofian, MD

I went to Dr. Roofian for my back..Serious pain. It was unbearable at times. Since then I've had lumbard and midback epidurals. He really is a Top Pro. Today I am out of pain. I found the office very professional and very helpful..I enjoy going for my visits.

I read some of these and also heard he was kind from someone in my neighborhood. I did not have that experience.Not sure how he chooses who he will treat with respect and who not.Sadly, he treated me like the other people in the 1st 2 reviews. He talked re: my MRIs. I listened of course.Like many I was in discomfort when I went in(that is why we are there!)I asked if I could ask questions.Suddenly he ushered me out.Needed help, kindness, attentiveness.Had none..a mean spirited individual! Are people treated different by their self pay treatments, the mood he is in? Not the way an MD would want his loved ones being treated. So damaging! Bullies don't care. I had looked forward to this appointment. "This is the worst place ever, this doctor stands by the door as he has no time for patient and has already regardless of pathology have the same plan for every patient that they have to do epidural injections,,, he tells you he will treat you but when you get out of exam room to front desk… all is done and they show you to the door with no medications or treatment plans. He talks down to patient and judge patients from the first second on. He lacks compassion and bedside manners' " Everything rushed. Only interested in his narrow window of a possible treatment option. Didn't answer questions or explain. He walked in and out of the door of the office during the consultation, even became confrontational, and then abruptly walked out the door saying 'we're done'. I had lots of questions about my serious situation, but was given no opportunity to ask them. All this was little different from my initial visit with him which lasted maybe 10 minutes" I did not see the behaviors below:( "Dr. Roofian was warm, inviting, listened very attentively while I shared with him my health history.I have a lot of respect for him because it takes a true professional to know when you don't need to treat someone at all and not just jump straight to aggressive measures when they aren't necessary. So thank you for hearing me" "Dr. Roofian is smart and caring. He also has a great sense of humor. I've known him for many years and appreciate him." "Dr. Roofian truly cares, and listens to your pain and gives great options . He is an honest doctor which made me that much more comfortable. "Dr Roofian is amazing. I have been to different doctors but none of them have given me the time to explain my situation. Dr. Roofian actually took his time to listen to me to come up with the best plan of action to alleviate my chronic pain condition.
