Dr. Sheetal Sudhir Gavankar, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Gavankar for almost a year now. I am so blessed to have found her. She is very kind, compassionate and very attentive to my concerns. She treat me with respect and dignity she provides me with information regarding my sickness. In one word I would say that she is GREAT!!

She will gladly write you a Rx to cover up your symptoms, but won't delve into the root cause of your disease because actually curing you would not support the overall business model. She doesn't care, she just wants to write scripts. Seek information about management of your chronic condition elsewhere. The power lies in your own hands to cure yourself. Your body wants to be strong and healthy; return your system to balance and your symptoms will eventually go away without horrible side effects and a drug pushing cog.

Dr. Gavankar is exceptional in her field and I am blessed to have her treating my chronic autoimmune disease. My life is in great hands and I could not ask for anything better. Every detail of my condition and treatment plan is explained to me and she answers all my questions.

I have serious autoimmune problems including severe Crohn’s and Sjögrens. When I met with her, she didn’t seem sympathetic at all and had no suggestions for me on what to do, even though I’m having a lot of pain and a wide range of symptoms. Two other doctors helping me with specific problems have question why I’m not seeing a rheumatologist. But she’s the only one in my system.

She is very nice. So sweet and very honest! I went for joint pain and found out I had fibromyalgia. She didn’t want to put me on medication and absolutely appreciated her comment

If I could. I would commute to HB to have Dr GAVENKAR as my Dr. I only saw her twice within 3 months and I was so pleased by her total package. If you are fortunate to have her you are blessed!! What happens in Vegas, sometimes ends up in Huntington Beach. I’m just Sorry you are gone from me!! I have felt very comfortable with Dr. Gavankar, she is so sweet! She explained what her thoughts were with my joint problems and set her expectations of the next few visits. I know that she wants to work with me to get me to feeling the best I can be. I know I have to do my part to work towards that goal.

Great doctor, cares about her patients. She saved my life

Find a better doctor, one who cares and won't put your well being behind their ego and childish choices. I confronted her previously about her bad bedside manner and perceived lack of personal care. It ended up being an arguing match. Cut ahead a few months the medication she prescribed needed to be renewed, I got a call that I needed to come in for a check-up prior to renewal. So I did, we seemingly "buried the hatchet" and this same occurrence repeated once more. Cut ahead to current, the medication she prescribed needed to be refilled again. She declined the renewal- without telling me or the CVS Specialty, saying that I was no longer her client...which was totally news to me as this hadn't been discussed in almost 2 years and several visits had occurred since. So I am now 10 days behind in my injection, I have to find a new doctor with whom I can get an appt in 2 weeks to get my script renewed then have it sent to me. This means that due to her ego and lack of empathy and care I… will be a month behind on my injection and my body will suffer in the process. Is that the type of doctor you want caring for you!? I don't think so. Look elsewhere.

I felt so lucky to have had her as my doctor. She was both caring and knowlegable in her area of specialty. She treated me like a person. Whoever has her as their doctor will be extremely fortunate.
