I'm surprised by the negative reviews. She is nice and thorough. I sometimes see other doctors due to my schedule, and it always reminds me how much I liker her. I would definitely recommend her.

She has always been right-on with her diagnosis, and follows up on her patients. I can't recommend her highly enough!

I have no doubt she knows her medicine and maybe that's the most important thing when you get right down to it. But I couldn't shake the yucky feeling I had for hours after seeing her...that she felt herself to be superior, or that she just doesn't enjoy being around people (maybe it's the medicine she loves, not the human beings she has to talk to). Would not return to her.

It's strange to see a couple reviews so down on Dr. Bhatia. She must have a twin or something, because the Sheila Bhatia I've been going to for 10 or more years at the Kaiser Walnut Creek facility has been nothing short of excellent. She always seems genuinely concerned about my health and medical problems. I concur with another reviewer that she never hesitates to order appropriate tests, etc.Can she sit there and chit chat with each patient for a half an hour, no, hardly any doctors can these days under most insurance plans. She spends enough time though, and is efficient.Not sure what bent some people the wrong way, but at least with me, she's always been a great doctor, and I thank her for that.

We have been seeing Dr. Bahtia for the last 2 1/2 years. We really like her, personally and professionally. She is fast, to the point, and straightforward. She has a nice personality. She never hesitates to get us the appropriate tests or medication. We highly recommend her.

This doctor needs a course in how to relate to human beings. She made no eye contact, stood typing at the computer the entire time (5 minutes at most), did not ask me any questions and appeared not at all interested in who I am and what could possibly concern me. She was condescending and unprofessional.
