Dr. Sheldon Jay Black, MD

Had a wonderful experience with Dr Black and his PA during recent neck surgery. He listens and allowed to take my concerns into account. Took time to sit with my family and explain.

Never met a more uncaring dr. He even corrected how I said tinnitus. All about the money not about caring for his patients. Waited 1 hr in waiting room and inky saw him maybe 5 minutes.

Doctor was helpful and prescribed a medication for my nose. Only issue was I arrived early 1:40 for a 2:00 appointment. Did not see the doctor until 3:30 and he spoke with me for less than 10 minutes.

Although I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Black, his staff was not personable nor pleasant. Actually they were kind of rude and short with me. I overheard the nurse that was suppose to take my vitals speak of something negative about me to the nurse who examined my ears. I did not feel welcomed. I will not visit this location again.

I had considered going to another ENT after reading some of these reviews. Decided that I would see for myself. Other than having to drive downtown, this was one of the nicest guys I have had the opportunity to see. Also his staff was super nice. Bad reviews can really mislead potential patients. In the future I will ignore reviews and form my own opinion. So glad I did with Dr. Black.

Dr Black is one of the most arrogant dismissive doctors I have ever encountered. The staff is awesome but he needs to do better with being compassionate with his patients. 9 times out of 10. We came to you to help us not judge us on our care.. If you have options choose another Doctor. I think most forget 2018 and there are sooo many other options with choosing care. If you want some caring and concerned about you get another doctor.
