My child was diagnosed with pneumonia and was admitted to the hospital for 21 days. The pediatrician at the time stated he had done all he could and it would take a miracle for my child to get well. He discharged my child home without any resolution. I prayed and my child was spared, but I knew she needed a better pediatrician. I prayed and received news about Dr. Shelley Weiss. I made the call and insurance was verified and we had an appointment. My child had a few medical conditions. Dr Weiss begin by listening and examined my child. My child had hearing problems, immune system wasn't responding to medications. Dr. Weiss knew this would not be an overnight health resolution. However, every referral he made, we attended as instructed. This was when my child was about 3yrs old. My child is 10yrs old and no longer has hearing problems, her immune system responds to medications. My child is ADHD, but she is healthy. Dr Weiss is committed to all his patients to have a healthy and happy… future. There are hundreds of pediatricians you can choose from, but if you want the best for your child's well being, chose Dr Weiss. He cares and works hard to find a healthy solution for his patients. My child is a living testimony of how prayer works through Dr Weiss. The nurses and front office staff are marvelous and all work together as a family to provide our families a better future. Pushed vaccines on my son and he got injured

Dr. Weiss is passionate about caring for kids at the highest medical standard. He looks at the complete person, and speaks clearly and directly. His office is pleasant, and the staff to nice to work with by phone and in person. Dr. Weiss is very available, and takes his own call. I'm grateful for his care of my children, and have gone to him for years.

Dr. Weiss is the only pedestrian my family know. He was great with my daughter and now with my son. Nine years and counting.

My kids have been patients of Dr. Weiss since he saw my youngest in the hospital at birth. We decided to make him our regular pediatrician despite living over 30 minutes away from Medical City. One thing I really appreciate is that the waiting room is clean, never crowded, and there is a separate waiting area for sick kids. We've never had to wait more than 15 minutes tops. The staff is very friendly, too. Dr. Weiss has always been thourough, knowledgable, great with the kids, and accurate diagnosis with appropriate treatments. One visit in particular stands out that makes me really like this guy. My youngest was in the office for his very first round of immunization and , blame it on the post partum hormones, lack of sleep, etc., but I asked what he thought about delaying vaccines and spreading them out. He set me straight real fast with a firm "No." And I really appreciate that now. I almost feel into the science denying anti-vax crowd but he snapped me out of it. Thanks, … Doctor!

Dr. Weiss does not listen to the parents. He thinks he knows best and my child continues to be ill.

My daughter has been going to Dr Weiss for a long time. She always enjoys going. The staff is amazing as well. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Weiss truly cares about his patients. He will truly go all the way to help the kids. He listens to the problem, and is very good with diagnosis and suggestions. His staff is kind and considerate. I value him and would highly recommend him.

I had the worst situation with my son. He had been sick for two weeks and our regular pediatrician was out of town. We were referred to Dr. Weiss because my son was not getting better. His office was able to get us an appointment on the same day I called, actually one hour later, got me in only a few moments and saw my son. Quick diagnosis of a double ear infection and an antiboitic prescription and I was on my way. I would recommend this doctor to anyone needing quality care for their child.
