Dr. Sheri Lynn Rowen, MD

Dr Rowen did excellent job removing cataract in my left eye. Cataract looks like a starfish. She used cutting edge laser technology to remove the cataract and replace my lenses with advanced light plus lenses. I can see more clear and am very happy with the results. I highly recommend Dr Rowen and her staff.

Let me tell you about my GREAT EXPERIENCE! I am a local dentist with a specialty that requires tremendous attention to details. When I turned 51 years old, my vision began to decline. By age 52, I knew that I needed to go in for a consultation. I did my research as to whom I would trust with my vision. After all, my eyes play a major role in my life and career. Dr. Sheri Rowen, M.D. ( an AMAZING Surgeon) was a God sent name. My consultation was comprehensive and with great attention to details; just the way I like things to be done. Dr. Rowen treated me with care and made sure to answer all my questions with great knowledge. My diagnosis was : Aggressive Posterior Sub-capsular Cataract(s) in both of my eyes, and this was heart breaking news to me. Well, the decision was easy, I needed to schedule my cataract surgeries ASAP. Both surgeries went well and the recovery was painless, quick and easy. After my first eye, I could not wait to do my second eye. During the… consultation we both decided that the best choice for my new lenses was the Light Adjustable Lens option. After a 4-week recovery period from the date of my first lens replacement, the light adjustment process began. That is when Dr. George Shunda, O.D. (Optometrist) comes into play. He is amazingly wise, logical and practical in his approach. His experience is second to none! He has helped me PRECISELY determine the necessary adjustment(s) for each individual eye. He has steered me in the proper direction so I would not make a mistake. The final result is summarized in the following way: Well Pleased, Excellent, and Ecstatic with my result. Both doctors and entire staff (especially Andrea) have been accommodating, personal, patient, kind, knowledgeable, PROFESSIONAL, and caring during my entire process. I tell most of my patients about my wonderful experience at NVISION. The entire team is wonderful. I’ve recommended their services to family, friends and patients of confidence. Here is the bottom line: “I can see better today at age 52 than I ever did at age 24 when I graduated from dental school and did not need glasses.”

I had horrible vision after a botched LASIK surgery, and several surgeries to try to fix it that just made it worse . I was like that for over ten years and nothing could help including prescription glasses the several different doctors could not help me see. I then met this wonderful and talented doctor Rowan and I am totally overwhelmed with joy and thankfulness that she has given me my life and vision back again using Toric IOL implants and another type of IOL in the other eye. I am a pain in the butt patient. My fear is anything coming within 2 inches of my eyes. Dr. Rowen got me to face my worst fear. Now I am enjoying the gift of being able to see with out 3 different pairs of glasses to get me through the day. She was so nice and sensitive to my fears throughout the process. Dr. Rowen gave me the best eye exam. She is very thorough and takes her time for examination. Dr. Rowen operated on my upper & lower eyelids and I am very pleased with the results. She is a concerned and considerate doctor. I rate an excellent score for Dr. Rowen.

After wearing glasses for about 40 years, Dr Rowen now has me GLASSES FREE!!!. I had cataracts in both eyes. she performed catatact surgery which cleared my vision satifactory to me. However, she felt she could get a even better result with lasar. At no charge, she did lasar correction also, and I now have better vision than I had with my glasses. I am recommeding her to my mother, my sister and anyone else that asks about my experience. EXCELLENT Doctor!!!!!!

Being extremely near-sighted and having only one eye, her "no needle" anesthetic and precision skill with her micro-incision(no stitch) and caring worked a miracle for me. I was able to walk out of her care center at Mercy Med.Center using no glasses for sight. This, after having an extremely heavy lens for over 55 years.
