I've had horrible experiences with this office. I would not recommend this doctor.

I called and spoke to the receptionist to schedule a telemedicine appointment. She needed to discuss this with the physician first and did call me back a week later to made the appointment for the following month. The day before my appointment I did receive a confirmation call from her office. I also faxed medical records the week before to give her enough time to review. I was waiting on zoom for 20 minutes for my appointment when the receptionist called me saying the doctor would not do the telemedicine appointment with me. She needed to see me in person because it had been 6 years since my last appointment. This was all discussed prior to making the telemedicine appointment. The receptionist then told me she would refill any medicine I needed. I asked her if the doctor authorized that and she said yes. You won’t see me for a telemedicine appointment because I haven’t seen you in 6 years (I also see another Rheum in NYC) but you will refill medication for me? I found this to be… completely appalling. I asked for the office manager and was told they didn’t have one and to call a different location. When calling that office, they referred me back to the office I just spoke to and refused to help me. Completely incompetent and unprofessional office. It would have taken Dr Griffiths all of 15 minutes to speak to me and she refused. Don’t waste your time.

While I’m sure Dr. Griffiths is form with handling mild forms of rheumatological disease, I would not recommend her for anything more advanced. She often pushed off concerns and even called symptoms suggestive of relapse as “PTSD” - we ended up going to a new rheumatologist who switched my dependent to a new regimen and the difference is amazing! All the symptoms which were highly suggestive of relapse have subsided. I suggest Dr Griffiths either read up on management or perhaps extend more patient empathy - important for patient safety and preventing relapse.

Since I’ve been going to Dr. Griffiths she’s been patient and understanding about my needs of medication and overall my health in general I wouldn’t change her for the world

Dr. Shernetta is very polite, nice and friendly. She cares about her patients and try's her best to help them! Sometime it is hard to get an appointment with her that the downside! She is very booked and busy! However, the Rochelle Park Office usually is willing to work with getting you an appt of you express that you are having pain and you need to see the doctors ASAP they will most like be willing to squeeze you in! The people from the Bergenfield office is rude! This has nothing to do with the service the doctors provide; because she takes her times with you and is very kind and listens!

Dr. Griffiths is smart, thorough, and compassionate. But the office staff is none of those things. 7 week wait for an appointment, for a returning patient, when you have 3 offices? Come on. I could get in to see the Queen of England faster. 3 stars because minus 1 for the practice
