Dr. Sheri A. Gillis Funderburk, MD

I am so happy that I tried Dr. Gillis, she has helped me so much. I am now eating better, losing weight & my sugar levels are stabile.

I have been a patient of Dr Funderburk for about 4 years now. The first time that i caller her office, i was told she isn't accepting any new patients and given the option of other doctors. I inform her staff, Nicole that i got a referral from a friend she treated and if i can't see her, i'd rather not see any doc. Nicole asked if i had test results, (which i a did from a previous Dr that i was not happy with). She asked me to send it over and will have Dr Sheri review it and she'd decide. To my surprise, 2 days later i got a phone call from her that Dr sheri will like to see me. This is how my journey with her started and it had been amazing ever since. The office staff is very courteous and truly care about your experience. The DR's bedside manner is just amazing. She is very attentive and never ever did i feel rushed by her. She is very responsive to my questions and thorough. Educates me on my health. I love the portal option to ask questions. She and her staff have been very… responsive so i don't feel i need to call. Getting appointments will take a while if you have to reschedule but she tends to be extremely accommodating and the staff really looks out for you when there is a cancellation. Wait time in <5 mins. I will i can have her as my PCP and oBG. I would recommend her to anyone in an instance. She is truly an amazing Doctor that really cares bout her patients.

My son transitioned from his pediatric Endocrinologist. Dr Gillis-Funderburk was very knowledgable and informative. The office staff was kind and pleasant. We were both very happy with his visit.

Treated my sixteen year old son for hypothyroidism and was exceptional with care, professionalism and bedside manner. Made my son very comfortable and spoke to him at the appropriate level related to his issues. I would recommend her to anyone needing an Endocrinologist.
