Sherry Megalla, MD

Dr. Sherry Megalla is a cardiovascular disease specialist with additional expertise in internal medicine and nuclear medicine. She earned her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center in 2008. With over two decades of medical experience since beginning her career, Dr. Megalla provides comprehensive cardiac care to patients of all ages. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Megalla practices at Bronxcare Health System and sees patients in Wantagh, New York. Her clinical focus includes treating high blood pressure conditions, including hypertensive emergencies and pediatric hypertension cases. She performs diagnostic heart testing such as EKGs, specialized heart ultrasounds, and contrast echocardiography to evaluate cardiac function and detect heart conditions.
