Dr. Sheryl L Blaylock, MD

She took care of me for 12 years and that care saved my life. There should be more like her, but sadly there are not.

My spouse was diagnosed with cancer after a procedure Doctor Blaylock recommended and made a referral for. When the specialist did not explain the findings or the condition, my spouse reached out to Dr. Blaylock, who regardless of her busy schedule, took my spouse's phone call, and explained the initial findings and what they meant. This calmed my spouse considerably. Furthermore, Dr. Blaylock contacted the Oncologists who would be handling the case and ensured my spouse was seen immediately to further explain the results, next steps and probable prognosis. My spouse has seen Dr. Blaylock for many years and has received excellent treatment in the past, but the effort Dr. Blaylock provided in this instance was above and beyond and brought comfort to my spouse at a difficult time.

Moved to Weatherford a year ago and chose her as our PCP. Wonderful doctor! She has helped us so much. She really works to solve medical problems. We are thankful for finding her.

My husband and I began to look for a doctor we felt could meet both our medical needs shortly after we were married and have been patients between 12 and 14 years at this time. We have been very happy with our choice of Dr. Blaylock and confident that we are getting much better care than with the many other doctors either of us had used before this time. She is quick to refer to specialist as needed but is able to appropriately meet most our needs. We never feel rushed, she spends as much time as necessary to be sure we understand our options and leaves us feeling confidant of our treatment choices.

I have been a patient for more than ten years. Have always been pleased with her and the staff. I find her very caring and always willing to listen to me. She is very smart and professional.

I don't think she likes men. She seems aloof, and distant. Does not go into as much detail as I would like. Follow up was left to me to check on labs, testing, etc. Usually a Dr will make sure the staff calls you about these "trivial" matters, but not this office. Saw her for about a year, and said enough is enough.

I've been seeing Dr. Blaylock for about seven years. She's a no nonsense lady which at times comes over a little strong but her caring side is even stronger. She takes care of four other members of my family. We are all happy with Dr. Blaylock's services.

She is very loud, you can hear what is going on in the next room.
