Dr. Shirley Pearlina Veronica Webbe, DO

I worked with health care professional half my life, and I am currently working with a DO Doctor as well in the Upper East Side, so I know how important the ease of access and customer service can be to a medical facility. Dr. Webbe I must say has been the upmost gentle, personable and knowledgeable GYN I have gone too, very helpful and she made me feel very very comfortable and relaxed she answered all my questions and follow proper protocol. She is the Best Provider I have seen yet at Wyckoff Medical Center if they are smart they would keep her because I def. will keep her as my GYN

Dr. Webbe is the best doctor I've ever been to. In the past, I skipped out on visits because of the uncomfortable feeling that came with the whole experience. Dr. Webbe makes me feel very comfortable and she treats me so nice.

I am grateful to have gotten medical advice from Dr. Webbe! After two visits to the er over the weekend, I still did not know why I was having the symptoms I had. Thank God, after the necessary and proper testing Dr. Webbe ordered, she assured me I was ok and I needed to drink plenty of water. A day later and gallons of water after, I can say my negative syptoms have ceased!! The er made horrible mistakes in what they informed me. Dr. Webbe is knowledgable in her field and she took the time to get to the root of the matter. I would totally recommend Dr. Webbe !!

I have been suffering with going through a very bad change since I was at least 50, which really began a bit before that and built up to full-fledged menopause by the time I turned 50 and had my last period. I resisted taking hormone replacement therapy pills because I do have a pretty strong history of breast cancer that has all of a sudden cropped up although we had never had anything of the kind previously in our family. Well, I had discussed this all with a number of gynecologists over the years and they were always respectful enough to tell me it was of course, up to me at the end of the day and I had continued to go without any help as I figured how long could this last and that I could wait it out, which I had been doing all along anyway, and not very pleasantly. Finally, I could not take it anymore as it was getting worse rather than better with other very bothersome symptoms along with the classic 'hot flashes' and 'cold chills' ... and many times BOTH… simultaneously! My quality of life has greatly diminished, so how DARE this woman who's on a power trip because of her 'degrees' have the unmitigated GALL to tell me that she's not going to give 'it' to me?!! And I had barely gotten the chance to tell her the whole story at all! So when she kept persisting in asking me a whole lot of questions that had nothing to do with my very debilitating gynecological issues, I refused to sit there any longer. Many doctors like to play 'God" and they disgust the heck out of me!! This woman is an arrogant, smug and careless example of what so-called "medical professionals'' are like much of the time. I always thought that 'the Hippocratic oath" would be better served to be referred to as "the Hypocritical Oath" This woman is also about the unhealthiest-looking specimen I have seen, as , many of them are, when they are supposed to be telling US what to do for good health Ha!!!!
