Dr. Shree Kumar Kurup, MD

This doctor behaved in a hostile and undignified manner when he confronted me in a Costco parking on October 26, 2024. He hurled foul expletives and screamed uncontrollably. He accused me of damaging his car with my shopping cart and claimed I had damaged his side mirror. His poor wife or significant other unsuccessfully tried to calm him down. She operated the mirror to show that it was undamaged and worked, to no avail. He refused to give me his phone number or insurance information, though I repeatedly made overtures to exchange information. He called the police and for about 10 minutes blocked my car so I could not leave. Finally, his partner got through to him I had done nothing wrong and I left. I have learned that his actions can be possibly considered under the penal code as unlawful restraint, which is a 3rd degree misdemeanor. I would never trust my most precious asset, my sight to someone exhibiting such self control issues and I offer my experience with Dr. Kurup… as something you may wish to seriously consider when you make your physician choice

Dr. Kurup is very competent, kind and caring. He does not beat around the bush or keep you guessing as to a diagnosis and plan of treatment, which is an excellent trait for a doctor. He is the best!

Dr Shree Kurup MD. Is awesome! He knows what he's doing.

i have no doubts dr. kurup is an expert at what he does, but he can be rude, blunt, and, quite frankly, kind of a bully

I have worked with many a physician but, he by far exceeds them all. I miss the work ethic and the knowledge that he not only extends to the staff but the patients as well. He is a humble genius. I miss you Kurup.
