Dr. Shyam Mohan Srinivas, MD

Shyam M. Srinivas, MD, PhD, is an Associate Staff member in the Nuclear Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic. He completed his residency training in nuclear medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, after a preliminary year of internal medicine internship at Christiana Care in Newark, Del. He is board-certified by both the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Srinivas graduated from the University of California, Irvine, where he simultaneously pursued an MD and PhD in an NIH-sponsored Medical Scientist Training Program. The purpose of such a program is to produce physician scientists who can directly apply basic science to the medical field and further the art of medicine through research.
