Rude, tone deaf, offensive doctor. Insulting and NOT a nice person. "I wouldn't leave my house if I looked like you." Fat. "I can't imagine what you call dancing". I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia by a real doctor. Lousy bedside manner, lousy human being.

I do not have Arthritis , but he has helped me more than any other doctor

In the last 12 months I have been to 3 different Drs. All were good. The first one, Dr. #1 was for Mammogram and Pelvic exam. She ran blood and didn't like what she saw and sent me to an Internal Med Dr. Dr. #2 did more blood work and a body scan. Still didn't like the blood work and sent me to Dr Cassell. He asked how I ended up with him, I explained my story, he asked because he wanted to see why I was in there. My blood counts still came up a bit off. We did some more testing. In the mean time we figured out an unknown issues.. Fibromyalgia, my blood work finally came back to its normal range thankfully. Dr Cassell is treating me for my Fibro, he is willing to try different meds and has offered me good advice for things to try to help me. He seems like a serious man, but he did laugh several times. I would recommend him to anyone. My first visit with Dr Cassell was about 2 1/2 hours long. I spent probably 90 mins with him and the rest in xray and doing blood… work. I haven't spent more than 5 mins in the waiting room...I have been there 5 times now.

Dr. Sid Cassell is the most condescending medical professional I've ever encountered.

Dr Cassell was cranky and short with me when I tried to explain my symptoms. However, I do think he is thorough.

I have been seeing Dr Cassell since 2000 for SLE, Lupus Nephritis and Fibromyalgia. He has saved my life more than once. I admire this man and have intrusted my health to him. He truly cares... Sometime he can be a bit serious..... but I don't care because I know my health is important to him. The wait time can sometimes be long, but I understand that because I've come in for appointments and it ended up being longer than expected because of a problem I am having and I know because i am taking longer I am making people wait. So if I have to wait, I am more than glad to do so. Mary that works with him is just as amazing. She knows me my kids my grandchildren....... I would refer anyone i know to see him

I saw Dr. Cassell back in 2010 for carpel tunnel/arthritis pain in my arms and numbness in my feet. I told him the pain started just 3 weeks after my Mother passed away. He did several blood test and x-rays and they all came back normal. He told me it was all in my head and that I need to go and talk with someone about dealing with my Mother passing away... Wow, I was blown away. He basically was saying that it was all in my head. Well, its been 3 yrs now and I am faced again with finding a RH Dr.... it won't be Cassell!!!! I am all so being tested for Acromegaly.... Don't waist your time with this Dr. he is very pompous and needs a attitude adjustment.

I felt he listened carefully to me and yes he did keep me on point regarding his questions. My initial visit was scheduled for a 2 to 2 and a half hours. I was glad to have a dr willing to spend the time, do the necessary tests and follow up after every test is checked before rendering a diagnosis. Dr. Cassell did ask if I would be ok having a breast exam which I considered a part of the full physical exam. His nurse remained in the room. His matter was totally professional. As a retired nurse I feel some of the previous comments on this website are inappropriate. I feel very fortunate to have found a dr.who treats the whole person as autoimmune diseases come with a host of symptoms including depression .

This doctor thinks he knows what he is doing,...but he only goes along with previous diagnosis....needs to do his own homework when treating a patient as he was dead wrong with my illness.

This doctor has his own lab and x-rays in his office and then runs many test and x-rays. This is the least of his problems. He cuts you off when you are talking. He did a breast exam which after talking to other Rheumatologist I found out was completely unnecessary. He does not want to hear about any symptoms not related to his area medicine. He always brought in a large starbucks coffee during every visit and after his behavior I thought maybe there was more than coffee in the cup. I questioned him one time on his treatment and how I was upset and he got very angry and said I could find another doctor. Then he sent out a letter to me with copies to my primary doctor, my neurologist, and even my gynocologist! About how I refused to follow his treatment plan and he would no longer be treating me. My gynocologist was shocked and so was my primary doctor. After talking with other people in the area I found I was not the only one who was treated this way. And one of his ex xray techs said… that Dr. Cassell would get angry if a certain amount of xrays did not get taken during the day. I would never go back to this doctor again and I know many people that feel the same way.
