Dr. Simon John Farrow, MD

I live 2 hours away and made sure to drive there early to get there on time. I waited for 2 hours after my appointment time before I was able to see the doctor. When I did see him, it was a 5 minute visit in which he verified something that I already knew and said, we will need you to get an MRI and come back. The next time I went in after the MRI he told me that I was a liar when describing my first brain mass. He also continue to state that my brain mass was not growing fast, even though it was not there 10 months ago and now is the size of a golf ball. He had zero bedside manner and left me and my mother in tears with no answers to what is going on with my head. He said that all my extreme weight loss, vomiting, and headache had nothing to do with my mass and I will just have to live with that pain forever. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. This man deals with people who could have cancer in their brain and he treats us like we have no emotions or brains… ourselves. Please don't go to him, it is not worth the pain and hardship that he brings.

Worst doctor I’ve ever been too. Uncaring, lack of emotions, lack of listening skills, interrupting me all the time, no soul, heartless….and on and on and on I can go. First off people he is a paid Social Security evaluator. That should give you a heads up on what you will be dealing with. When I hired him as my doctor, the first visit I could not get a word out to tell him about my condition and how it affected me. The second visit after MRI and other test were done he took me into another room and twisted my neck then my arms all over the place. I had surgery on my neck and the neck pain is very bad with pain down my both arms. Sad part is I trusted him…and he hurt me a lot….I was in extreme pain after that evaluation that last for a long time…over 6 months of extreme pain that not even pain medications could help after his examination. Normally pain medications help relieve some of the pain….not after his exam! He injured me greatly. Doctors are NOT supposed to hurt people. This is… the kind of jerk he is. This old bone bag should retire NOW….cannot believe he is still working. Also his staff is not that friendly….almost as uncaring as he is. I trusted him and got extremely hurt for that trust. DOCTORS ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO HURT PEOPLE, BUT TO HELP THEM!

Don't ever go to him! So rude and very cruel. He has no idea what he is talking about and needs to retire. He is an old grumpy man with no heart.

Let's just say I will never be visiting him ever again! Very rude and sarcastic and does not believe what you have to say. He thinks hes the best, and by far is that the truth.

He was a man with no soul. He doesn't respect what you have to say, and is a know it all. He always interrupted what I had to say and never listened. He thought he thinks he knows everything and doesn't know a thing. A very rude man who left me in tears with his horrible attitude. From the minute he walked in the door I could feel such madness. I even heard him yelling at a patient down the hall and came into my room complaining about her weight. He also exposed personal things about myself. Overall he was the worst doctor I had ever been to, and would never refer him to anyone.

In my experience with Dr. Simon Farrow, is not favorable. Sadly, I will not recommend him to anyone for fear of the same unsatisfactory demeanor and lack of care and customer service, Upon a referral, Dr. Farrow took the liberty of address the answers to his questionnaire on my recent medical history. Not what the reason for the referral. During the questioning, Dr. Farrow kept interrupting me. He even went as far as rewording my answer to inaccurate. Dr. Farrow has a belittling attitude. As the first office visit went, so did the second. After requesting my physician encounter notes (office visit notes), I was dumb founded by the errors and the child like grammar with words like; "I think she said...", "I think, if I recall..." This is unprofessional. And this is not acceptable. I believe in professionalism and holding the professionals up to medical standards. I except no less on common courtesy, customer service and love for your profession. Dr. Simon Farrow lacks in all.

Dr. Farrow is very knowledgeable and diagnosed my medical problem on the first visit, referred me to a surgeon and my problem was solved in about 10 weeks total!! I would definately recommend this doctor to friends and family! :)

Wry sense of humor that put me at ease. Doesn't sugarcoat anything. Seemed to actually care that I improved my health. If you're a fan of the "everybody gets a trophy" approach, you may have some problems with him. But overall, I thought he was great.

This neurologist is one of meanest people I have ever met. He talks over your head, demeans you if have a opposition to his opinion.This guy is arrogant and unfeeling. I hesitate to say that but this relic needs to be archived and never let near to patients.He works in 14 hospitals to express his status as a professional. I feel sorry for the patients.
