Dr. Sina Nasri-Chenijani, MD

On May 9th, 2023, I underwent surgery by Dr. Sina Nasri to remove sinus polyps and to correct a deviated septum; after examination revealed I was approx 90% blocked on both nostrils. In the weeks prior to surgery, Dr. Nasri's friendly staff gave me information packets on what to expect and recommended specific sinus irrigation equipment, which I acquired so I would have it on day 1 after surgery. I was instructed to fast the night before surgery, and drink no liquids the morning of, which I followed. The staff at the surgery center made me very comfortable both pre and post-op, and I was in and out of surgery in just a few hours. Apart from having plugs put in both nostrils after surgery which did not come out until early the following morning, I had no major discomforts. Dr. Nasri was an absolute professional. He was extremely thorough in every detail. I took several days off of work, anticipating a bruised and swollen face, but to my surprise, there was no bruising, swelling, or… pain, despite having deviated septum surgery. This is a testament to the gentle precision of this surgeon. Dr. Nasri gave me clear instructions on what I had to do to get the best recovery, and upon following his instructions to the letter in the days and weeks following the surgery, the nasal irrigations gradually opened up my sinuses even further. I just had my 5-week follow-up, and my energy levels and libido are increasing. My daily walks are turning into jogs. My quality of life has been improved tremendously. Clear airways touch so many areas of our lives. I can't remember sleeping so soundly!! The surgery was, without a doubt, lifesaving, and I have nothing but respect and gratitude. I highly recommend Dr. Nasri to anyone who needs sinus polyps removed or deviated septum surgery and wants the absolute best surgeon, and who can get the job done right.
