Dr. Sofia Mavasheva, MD

n every occasion, that I have either called or had an appointment, Dr. Mavasheva was prompt, courteous, and listened to what I had to say and my concerns. I have been through at least three different insurance companies and the first thing I look for is that she takes the insurance. I highly recommend.

Dr. Movasheva is an excellent doctor. She took time to understand my health situation , conducted a very thorough analysis to find a cause of the medical problem and all her recommendations worked. I couldn't be happier

Dr. Mavasheva seems to be a competent physician, however her beside manner is lacking in that she doesn't listen, and frequently appears annoyed by even the smallest of questions. The office also appears to be significantly understaffed because the receptionists seem annoyed if you try and call to make an appointment, and most days you have to leave numerous messages in order to get someone to call you back. From my observations, they seem to cater to an older demographic, and do not seem very interested in working with younger adults. (The way they speak to their senior citizen patients is very different than how I have heard them speak to younger adults, who often seem like a "burden" for them to have to deal with)

Knows her stuff mostly but not friendly and abrupt.
