Dr. Soheil Azimi, MD

Dr. Azimi is an amazing, caring doctor. I am definitely coming back to see him.

My doctor was out of town so I had to see Dr. Azimi for pain caused by a blood disorder. Totally dismissive of anything I had to say. The sad thing is he didn't seem to know anything about my condition, he was completely ignorant to it's symptoms. On top of that he was rude and abrasive. If you see this doctor good luck. I am so grateful he is not my primary physician.

Outstanding doctor, highly professional and competent.

He has been the MD for 3 of my grandparents and my entire family loves him. He is caring and will go out of his way to make you feel at ease with your situation. When all 3 of my grandparents were in the hospital he would take wonderful care of them. I now only have one of those grandparents left and he has taken amazing care of her as well as the others who have passed. If I could have him as my doctor, I would. I have taken my grandparents to enough appointments to know he is great MD.

He told my grandmother that she's old and will die soon so he couldn't do anything for her. He was surprised when she made a comeback and recovered. All she needed was a better antibiotic. Also, staff takes over a month to call pharmacy back for refills - they are incompetent. All the 4 star reviews must be written by him - odd that so many would be 1 star whereas others would be 4 stars. Believe the 1 star ones and stay far away.

Extremely competent, knowledgeable, cheerful, considerate, thorough physician full of helpful suggestions. Doesn't overdiagnose but won't let patients slack on confronting their medical issues and getting the treatment they need. Helpful and available and efficient. Staff isn't as efficient as he is, although the nurses are good-- but any problems with the staff are very minor. Remarkable for knowing what he can treat and what he can't and ready to send the patient to a specialist when the treatment is beyond what he can do. Communicates well. Listens.

I'VE SEEN Dr AZIMI FOR YEARS. HE'S THE BEST. HAS A GREAT BEDSIDE MANNER. VERY THOROUGH..AND REAL NICE PERSON. WOULD NOT CHANGE FOR ANYTHING. THE STAFF IS GREAT AS WELL. THE OFFICE IS VERY CLEAN. OVERALL THEY ARE A 10

I have not had very good experience with him myself but I want to state my husband's bad experience here. My husband had an appointment with him for a general follow up visit that they require before giving us refills for our prescriptions. The day before he was there he started feeling some pain on his foot so he mentioned it to Dr. Azimi and Dr. Azimi refuses to do anything about it and told him to come back if it got worse. Sure enough it got worse, the very next day and he had to make another appointment him and of course that cost us another co-pay. All Dr. Azimi did was wrote a referal for him to see a specialist which he would have done two days ago! He spent about 5 minutes with my husband. He also told my husband go to get an X-ray at a UCLA lab which took another day to get that appointment and then when my husband finally got to the specialist's office three days later. We found out the specialist could have done the X-ray at his office! As it was, the x-ray didn't… have enough time to get to his office (UCLA only sends x-ray via their computer system when others give the patient a copy right then and there) so he had to do another set which ended up costing us even more since the insurance company would only pay for one set of x-rays. During this whole time, my husband was in a lot of pain and could barely walk!!! The speicaist was a UCLA doctor and his office was at UCLA med center in Westwood. He was refered by Dr. Azimi, who is a UCLA doctor! How can Dr, Azimi not know that this UCLA facility has x-ray machines? His action or "non action" caused my husband an extra week of extreme pain, not to mention the extra copays and time taken off work driving around! I see other people here says he's caring!! I'm sorry, we don't feel the same way!

Dr. Azimi is an excellent diagnostician, very knowledgeable. Very thorough and methodical in his examinations. Always has time for my questions. Always seems to have up-to-date information on my medical issues. He is also a caring and compassionate person with a sense of humor.

I've been with Dr. Azimi for 3 years now - and he's been nothing but wonderful. He's always prompt and courteous, but never rushed, always talks to me directly and answers every question I have. I trust him and his judgments, which have been thorough and conscientious. He always puts me at ease while remaining truthful.When I had a health issue, a series of referrals led me by accident to a different internist who was terrible, and very quick to prescribe drugs (which always makes me dubious). I came to Dr. Azimi for a second opinion, and he quickly announced that those drugs could have been quite harmful, and that the real way to treatment isn't to treat the symptoms, but find the source of the problem and fix that. I couldn't agree with him more. He has wholeheartedly earned my trust.
