I have been seeing Dr. Degann for 30 years and would recommend her highly to everyone!

Dr. Degann delivered all three of my children and she is a truly exceptional doctor. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about her or her assistant Marcia. She is a dedicated professional and has such a calming demeanor and down to earth personality. My husband and I adore her! She has an amazing reputation and she every bit lives up to this outstanding reputation. I had minimal pain delivering my children. Additionally, I had several miscarriages and she was ALWAYS available for me-- days, nights, weekends and holidays. She took excellent care of me and always gave me great advice. The one negative review here about Dr. Degann could not be more off base! I can tell you from experience that it could not be more of a misrepresentation. I have NEVER written a review, but I stumbled upon this dreadful review of such a wonderful doctor, and I felt compelled to share my experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Degann!

I contacted Dr Degann the day I found out I was pregnant, and I was lucky to meet her that same day. All downhill from there. My initial bloodwork came back with low levels of HCG (should have been a red flag). A week later I called to tell her I blacked out/ passed out in a puddle of my own perspiration. She didn't call me back. She had her receptionist tell me this was "normal". 2 weeks later, after 10 days of "morning sickness" all day everyday and night, my husband called her, and she had her partner Dr Guballa return the call and tell me to go to the emergency room. I spent the entire weekend on IV's and anti nausea drugs. Dr Degann never even called me after to follow up or check on me. I called her office and she had her receptionist return the call and continue to assure me all of this extreme sickness was "normal". At this point my husband was furious that she hadn't gotten on the phone with us once during a time when I was so sick, scared, and confused about the way I was… feeling. She has a wonderful reputation because she takes no insurance and caters to an elite "customer", she wears designer labels and Van Cleef jewelry to deliver babies, but when it comes to her human decency and passion for healthcare there is NONE. Weeks later, I went for my first routine office visit, where she prescribed a routine Nuchal Scan. At the Nuchal Scan ultrasound, alarm bells went off with "high side of normal" measurements. Again, I received no call from Dr Degann!!! I called her receptionist to talk about this scary news, and I received no call back from Degann. 2 weeks later, I have since found another AMAZING, RESPONSIVE, CARING health care professional to hold my hand through the darkest days of my life (and bonus: she takes health insurance!). I ultimately required further bloodwork, and CVS, and eventually a D&C to terminate my pregnancy bc my baby was sick with Trisomy 18 (a horrific condition I had never even heard of!). My new doctor takes my calls and my husband's calls. She calls us to deliver news - good, bad, and indifferent. She calls to check in. She is passionate about what she does. I still haven't heard from Dr. Degann! Dr Degann completely failed at every turn. STAY FAR AWAY!!!

I adore Dr Degann. I totally trust her professional opinion. She has a wonderful, warm bedside manner. She spends all the time you need with her and addressed all your concerns without making you feel rushed. Her office is welcoming, relaxing and efficient with her wonderful assistant Marcia taking care of all your additional needs. It's first-class service all the way and it costs to match.

Dr. Degan was truly amazing throughout my pregnancy, labor and post partum. But once I stopped having children, it was almost impossible to get an appointment for annual checkups and occasional other, mundane, ailments. When I needed to reschedule my annual check up because of work conflict, the next available appointment was 3 months away. I/we LOVED Dr. Degan when we were having babies. It was just difficult to stay a patient after that time in life.

She is a wonderful ob/gyn. Her mannerism in the delivery room makes you feel very comfortable, very nurturing and strong as if your own mother were delivering your baby. She is amazing and highly recommended.
