Dr. Sonya Jitendra Youngren, MD

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Youngren. I've been a patient for almost 10 years, and she has consistently provided outstanding care. From my very first appointment, she made me feel comfortable and heard. Her expertise and compassionate approach truly set her apart. I've seen a few gynecologists over the years, and Dr. Youngren is by far the BEST. She takes the time to explain everything, answer all my questions, and genuinely cares about my health and well-being. She's super cool and makes the whole experience feel relaxed and friendly. The office staff is also very efficient, making scheduling and visits smooth and pleasant. I'm definitely not the type of person to write reviews, but as I'm completely baffled by some of the negative feedback written below, I felt compelled to share my positive experiences. My experiences have been nothing short of exceptional. If you're looking for a knowledgeable and caring gynecologist, I HIGHLY recommend Dr.… Youngren!!!

I had a consultation with Dr. Youngren regarding a hysterectomy and sent her a message through the patient portal inquiring if I would be a candidate for the surgery to be done laparoscopically since I was not aware of this as a potential option. This is Dr. Youngren's response: Youngren, Sonya MD: 1:52 AM (5 hours ago) "With 3 prior c-sections and the likelihood of major scar tissue absolutely NOT in my opinion. If you would like to find another surgeon who wants to spend hours inside your abdomen laparoscopically not cutting into your ureters and other organs please find that surgeon, but I am not offering anything more than what I discussed with you on multiple occasions. If you have nay hesitations, please cancel once and for all." Update: I found a different surgeon who had the skill and confidence to do the surgery laparoscopically.

I have been a patient of Dr. Youngren's for almost 14 years. She is wonderful and caring, and always takes the time to answer any of my questions. I highly recommend her!

I recently moved to the area and was referred by a friend. First visit was fine, she was punctual but cold. However she completely forgot to write me a script for birth control which was the main reason I was seeing her. Just had a medical concern and was pleasantly surprised they could fit me in today. However, she was in and out of the room within minutes, barely answered my questions and she and the nurse didn't make me feel comfortable AT ALL. I asked if another issue I was having could be related and she didn't even look at it. Directed me to see another specialist. I will be finding another doctor as I hope to get pregnant in the future and would not RISK having her through the process. I wouldn't refer to a friend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Youngren’s for over 13 years! She has always been patient, sensitive, understanding and an incredible doctor! Both of my children were delivered by Dr. Youngren! I can not believe these reviews! Honestly, I do not think they are from real patients.

Do not see her - she has horrible bedside manner

This will be my third appointment with her. She was attentive, listen to all my concerns and it was a very comfortable and pleasant experience. I recommended her to mydaughter and friend.

I was so nervous going to Dr Youngren for the first time. The whole experience was excellent. I was in and out in 30 min. Dr Youngren was so friendly and down to earth and made me feel so comfortable! She didn't seem rushed at all and I am so glad I chose her!

Wow, in our experience with Dr’s, I’ve never had such distasteful customer care experience. These Dr’s are so self-interested that they actually turned us away because we had a consultation with another Doctor, and was considering leaving their practice. When we called back to say we were staying with them, the manager called back and explained that Dr. Youngren and team would not take us back. Wow. Blessing in disguise. My advise is to look for an OB who truly cares about you and is not just looking out for themselves. Shame on them

Was on her phone when checking my incision in hospital. So disappointed with her. Absolutely love everyone else in the practice.
