Soudeh Khayam Khayam Bashi

Ms. KhayanBashi attended to my husband at Providence Cedar Sinai hospital in Tarzana while he was hospitalized for four Fays for heart and lung issues I stayed with him the duration of his stay. The entire staff was competent, positive and professional.The one exception was Saudi Khayan-Bashi. This was our first and only encounter with her. We asked for her business card, which she didn't have. We asked to copy her badge. Other physicians at the hospital gladly let us copy their badges if they could not providde business cards, so the request wasn't unusual in our experience. She refused to let us see her last name, stating that she had specific boundaries. I questioned this, because it seemed odd. She told me I was disrespectful. She said that she had been stalked when she revealed her last name, and will no loonger give it our. Being stalked is a frightening experience, and I am sorry that she endured this misery. In my personal opinion she has not recovered sufficiently from… this experience to be able to relate in a professional manner with patients. She was negative and hostile, nothing like the rest of the staff. This was surprising because ever single other person we met was positive and caring. I have sympathy for her horrible experience of beings stalked. I think she may need some help in dealing with this issure before she is ready to treat patients. This is simply my opinion.
