Dr. Sridevi Garapati, MD

I saw her because I needed an urgent appointment and my Dr was not available. I was very happy with how many questions she asked about my history and how she clearly explained things. Her wait time was pretty long, but she does NOT rush you, which was very refreshing. I guess a longer wait is worth it if you get the care you need without being rushed.

Dr. Garapati seems like a good physician overall, knowledgeable and efficicient, but the efficiency is the part doesn't appeal to me personally. She begins with a barrage of questions instead of listening, seemingly to diagnose you without having to hear a word from the patient. She seems to have a no nonsense approach which some may appreciate, but I miss the comlassion and human component.

Will say / do anything to stay on "good side"Does not like having family members who are knowledgeable in medicine at appointments... and so will give ridiculous wait times > 1hr in room. changes med dose without monitoring (recent test results)does not provide patient with written warnings of dose compliance/noncompiance effects (withdrawals, rebounds etc.)
