Dr. Stacey J Carlitz, DO

Dr. Carlitz was amazing. She is very easy to talk to and she did not make me uncomfortable at all. She explained everything fully to me and answered my questions. She has a very positive attitude.

Very sad that this provider has chased me away from being a long time patient of Dr Pike’s office. The “family centered” values that they once had are no longer there. I saw this provider for a yearly exam, she took absolutely no time with me, rushed out without even doing a breast exam even after I stated that I had found a lump at home. Then after looking at my records, she stated in my visit note that she did a breast exam WHICH SHE DID NOT!! And that it was “normal” .. not to mention she had her nurse call me a week later to try and schedule me to have birth control implanted which I never agreed to and do not even need. I switched my records from here and I’m very pleased with my new OB/GYN. I feel as though my insurance should have never paid her for her poor “exam”

This doctor ran an unnecessary test stating I was high risk giving me a pre-existing condition in my health record which turned out to be negative. The test was routine years ago and it was negative so I was not a high risk. I was billed for a breast exam which never took place. She was running late which I waited over 2 hours to be seen. She took a total of 5 to 7 minutes before rushing off to the next patient.

I won't be going back to Dr. Carlitz. I have seen her multiple times and every time she's halfway out the door before I can even finish talking, and I'm not the chatty type. She also jumps to conclusions in specialties she is not knowledgable in (such as urology). Unprofessional and I'm finding a new OB.

Dr Carlitz is an awesome doctor, I would def reccomend her to friends & family.She left Roaring Springs area & I would love to find her again.

General doctor referred me to her b/c 2 test showing GYN problems. Both tests and lengthy survey with my medical history and family's submitted several months before appt. They lost both of my test and when I got to the appt they knew nothing about why I was there. Gave me prescription to help, but when asked how that would help they didn't know b/c didn't have test results. Said they would send something in mail once they found tests. Got nothing except bills in the mail. Paid in full and then received another bill. When I called about that one they said they lost my insurance information so were charging me full amount. The desk staff and nurse were nice. The doctor was quick in and out and didn't want to be bothered/spend time finding out real problem. The total organization of the place is a mess. Had to go to another doctor and start over.
