Dr. Stacey T Gray

Like another reviewer, I was a Guinea pig for the trainee. Like many docs of her generation, doesn't do work outside the routine that will require more than 20 minutes of thought. I was quickly referred for what is a complex condition crossing over sinus and other disciplines. Another Harvard instructor teaching more Harvard trainees to pump patients through the fast food lane.

I had surgery for Chronic Sinusitis at MEEI in Boston and the entire process was excellent. The staff, her fellows, the facilities all far exceeded expectations. I am ecstatic with the outcome and I had the surgery late in the afternoon on a Monday and I was comfortably back in work Tuesday morning. The procedure was painless and the recovery was very easy. I would highly recommend Dr. Gray and the whole group at MEEI to anyone who is contemplating sinus surgery.

I have been seeing Dr. Gray for about 4 years now for severe sinus issues due to allergies. I had two surgeries with her, about 1.5 years apart, both dealing with different aspects of my sinus issues, and have had amazing results. I can finally breath through my nose, something I haven't been able to do in many years! Dr. Gray always takes the time to explain everything related to the procedures, perform the correct diagnostics, and perform post operative procedures necessary for proper healing. Afternoon appointments usually leave me waiting about a half hour to see her, but that's why I always go in the morning; she's always running on schedule then! The nurses in the Sinus Center are wonderful also! I live about 2 hours from Boston and think that trip is worth it every time I go to see her.

I agree with the patient who said she was prone to surgery from the get go. She also gave me an experimental medication regime that boosted my blood pressure. There was no follow up-I found it was high when I went for a physical 8 days later! She sends in a student ENT doctor who actually deals with you until the last 5 minutes of the appt., then she makes a brief appearance to announce that she still thinks you need surgery. I'm pretty sure she doesn't even do it. You probably become practice fodder for the ENT student. NO THANKS

I had an appointment at 3:30. She didn't see me until 5:45. From the second I walked in the door she just wanted to do surgery. I had to tell her that I wanted to get allergy shots first since I had very bad allergies. There are many many studies out there that say surgery is much more effective for those with allergies if immunotherapy has been done. Best decision I ever made for my health. Of course she doesn't make any money on allergy shots.

Dr. Gtay is an excellent doctor. she is kind, patient and fully explains things to me.

You may wait awhile to see her on average about 30-45min. it is worth the wait since she takes the time with you. She will do what is necessary to get the correct diagnosis and follow up with you. Great bedside manners and caring.
