Dr. Stacey Marie Gruber, MD

She doesn’t seem to like when you ask questions. I was requesting to change medications since the one I was I thought I was starting to react to and she made it sound like a big deal. Came back another time with my mom and she said it was no big deal but seemed short or maybe insulted when we where asking questions about changing and effects with taking both at the same time. She also rushes out and doesn’t seem to want to listen to me. I’m planning on switching to a new doctor as this isn’t the first time.

She was very rude and did not listen to anything I had to say.

I feel compelled to comment, about Doctor Gruber being rude. I felt quite the opposite, she was very nice. She came into the room with a big smile, and introduced herself with a handshake. She was very concerned about my pain, and suggested pain management. She referred me to Doctor Dervish for epidural steroid injections. I recommend her highly. Roy A, Hart, Norway, Michigan.

I would never recommend her nor return to see her again. I wouldn't bring my dog or cat to see her for treatment. She was alarmingly ignorant for her specialty and shouldn't have graduated from medical school, in my opinion. She had terrible bedside manner, and bad manners in general, was rude dismissive and at best, she was not helpful or bothered to do even the bare minimum in patient care - her job. If I could rate 0 or -3 stars I would. Please reconsider seeing this doctor for treatment or care. I never normally leave online reviews, but my experience with her was so dreadful I felt compelled to warn any others who are generally seeking help from a medical professional- try another doctor. I hope this helps prevent someone from going through what I did.

Initial consult was spent going down a list of symptoms brought in and saying for each one....I don't treat that. When provided a childhood history of the patient she stated " I am not a pediatric neurologist". Apparently physical symptoms are not of interest to her and history is not. She asked us why we were even there and did we check out psychiatry? Really? She never heard of non grand mal seizures? Apparently those are the only ones she can recognize. Don't waste any time or money on an appt with her.

I look forward to my visits with Dr. Gruber and her nurse Kathleen so much. The Botox injections they give me in my M.S. stiffened legs is so helpful. I wish my insurance would allow it more frequently.

The procedure was extremely painful. There was no warning that it would be so excruciating. No effort was made to numb the area. And YES there is a cream that does that. It was simply not convenient for her. When she made a mistake with the injection, she tried to blame it on me. I found her very Unprofessional. I was surprised that she is an MD.
