Dr. Stacey D. Mcclure, MD

I had an appointment with Dr. McClure. After waiting patiently for almost an hour, he came into the room and greeted me as "boss", which I thought was unprofessional to start. I explained that I was about to leave because I had waited almost an hour. After he heard that he looked at me angrily and said....."you can leave." He told me it was because of Covid. I then said "well isn't that why we make appointments?" After he heard me say that, he then said "well, this isn't gonna work out." Opened the door and walked out of the room. I followed him to the front counter and thanked him for wasting my time. After spending all of 5 minutes with Dr. McClure, it was obvious that he didn't care about me or my time at all. The least Dr. McClure or his staff could have done was apologize and inform me that they were about 45 minutes behind schedule .......and ask me if I was ok to wait? My experience with Dr. McClure was awful. He was unprofessional, egotistical, and insensitive.… I would obviously not recommend Dr. McClure just based on his demeanor and arrogance .

Dr. McClure is a great doctor. He is very patient and explains things really well.

Terrible surgeon. I am living proof that you should never consider seeing this surgeon.

He is patient and talks to you and not at you. He discusses a course of treatment he feels would work and asks what you think. He asks about what you've had before, other doctors you've seen. He's very consultative. Highly recommend.

He was good in explaining my treatment

Very professional and knowledgable surgeon. I had both knees scoped at the same time a year ago and have had no issues what so ever. I would highly recommend him.

While at the CORE Institute, Dr McClure misdiagnosed my son's broken kneecap as a dislocated kneecap, even with an MRI. A year later, he broke the other knee, and Dr McClure misdiagnosed that one too. After 4 months, we got a second opinion, and he was correctly diagnosed, surgery performed, and knees repaired. End result: my son had a broken knee for well over a year before we got it fixed. Specific problems with Dr McClure was he presented us with a serious scenario, and when we gave him with the paperwork from school, he wimped out and wrote "The mother is concerned about the knee pain" rather than putting down any kind of credible diagnosis. Not only did he misdiagnose the injuries, he wouldn't stand behind anything he told us. That event is what sent me Dialing for a New Doctor.
