Dr. Stacy Lynn Terry, MD

After several visits with Dr. Stacy Terry, we’ve decided to move on and feel it’s important to share our experience for other parents considering this practice. While there are some operational positives at Best Nest Pediatrics, the quality of care our child received from Dr. Terry was not acceptable. Pros: The practice offers 24/7 support through an after-hours line. Calls are initially handled by a third-party nurse triage service, and if needed, a doctor from the practice will call back. There are separate entrances for sick and well visits, which helps reduce exposure between patients. Cons: Dr. Terry is polite in demeanor but consistently inattentive. During visits, she often seemed distracted — typing or moving around — while we were explaining our concerns. It gave the impression that she was not fully engaged or listening. Her bedside manner left much to be desired. Instead of offering reassurance or empathy, she came across as rushed and dismissive. As a parent, this… made already stressful visits feel worse. The front office team relies heavily on scripted responses. For basic questions they are helpful, but anything more complex becomes frustrating. Even when we got answers, they often didn’t inspire confidence. Over a span of multiple visits, it became clear she was focusing only on treating the symptoms and not the underlying problem(s). After advocating for a referral, a specialist quickly identified a condition that had previously been overlooked, despite us having raised the concern. Unfortunately, we never felt that our concerns were taken seriously or that our child was receiving thorough care. While the clinic has some helpful features, our experience with Dr. Terry did not meet our expectations. We would not recommend her.

Dr. Terry is extremely friendly and that's about it. She's so busy smiling and kissing your child that she can't diagnose them correctly. In a matter of life and death, she can't be trusted. Maybe she was a good doctor a couple of years ago, but she is extremely horrible Now and lives in fairytale world, telling you everything is fine with your child when its not. Please be careful when taking your child to this doctor because she overlooks a lot of stuff that can be detrimental to your child's health and life.

Dr. Terry and her office staff are wonderful. Several times they have scheduled us in on short notice. The wait is never more than 10 minutes. I have to agree with all of the other reviews. Dr. Terry is great! She is a great combination of down to earth, and smart.

Dr Terry and team are wonderful!!! We have never been to a more friendly and caring doctor.....ever! As a new mom I have a lot of questions Dr Terry always takes her time, and is great at explaining. Her nurses are just as great when calling in to ask questions! The best doctor!!!!

I love Dr. Terry! She genuinely cares about my daughter and always takes time to answer my questions. The staff at BestNest is always smiling.

After interviewing several pediatricians, we decided on Dr. Terry, and I'm so glad we did! Appointments are easy to get, her office staff is very friendly and great at follow-up, and parking is never an issue. Dr. Terry is excellent with our kids. She's never in a rush, never keeps us waiting long, and is open to alternative/modified vaccination schedules and treatments. She takes her time and interacts with our kids, and never rushes to throw drugs at a problem. She carefully diagnoses and never overlooks small details. We prefer to try alternative medicines when appropriate, and she supports that. I have no complaints at all. We are 100% satisfied. I can't say enough good things about her. She does free potential patient consultations. If you are shopping for a new dr, then take a few minutes to meet her. She's amazing!

If only all doctor's offices were like Dr.Terry's! Little to no wait times. Great bedside manner. Relates well to children as well as adults. Best of all Dr. Terry has lots of experience with children and my kids love her.

My daughter loves Dr. Terry. Dr. Terry always gives great advice and takes time to make you feel like no other issue is more important. When you see her you get 100% of her attention. She is fantastic.

My daughter woke up with 103 fever and chills. Dr. Terry was able to work us into her schedule and make my 4 year old daughter very comfortable.She was very friendly and professional, a rare combination found these days in the medical field.
