Dr Stacy M. Yadava, MD

She doesn't deserve one star, shouldn't even be a doctor in my opinion. This conclusion of mine was not based on the fact that when I took my mother to her for a biopsy test for abnormal vaginal bleeding that this doctor tried the procedure a few times and caused a lot of pain in my mother but still couldn't take out enough tissue, I can forgive her for that since she was new. What I cannot forgive was that whereas we were told by my mother's primary doctor during a separate visit a few days later that the biopsy was not successful and the result inclusive and we should have it redone because it was very critical for the final diagnosis, Dr. Yadava called us and said that the test result was normal and nothing to worry. When I questioned about the result and requested a second biopsy test, she hesitated and said it was not recommended and if we were not comfortable we should wait for the ultrasound appointment which was scheduled four months later (yes this was a county hospital… and there was a long queue for everything). I insisted and asked for a change of doctor. Lucky I did that, because the 2nd biopsy tested cancer cells and it was a very rare and aggressive type. My mother had to have operation immediately. Fortunately her surgery was very successful and she is now under the care of a very good oncologist. But I couldn't imagine what would have happened if we didn't happen to have learned about the unsuccessful biopsy and just listened to what Dr. Yadava has told us. How can a doctor behave so irresponsible? In my opinion she lacks the basic quality of being a doctor and shouldn't be one.
