I was unable to walk. I had been to numerous doctors who literally said that they didn't have a clue to what was wrong. I was referred to Dr. Gominak, she talked to me to where I could understand. She saw me when others turned me away. She would do her research and she found out what wrong. Now I'm walking. She will call you to make sure everything is going well. She spends quality time with you for assessment and your opinion. She is just wonderful and well educated in her field of study. I would highly recommend her to any and everyone. I just love her and her mannerism. I look forward to my visits with her.

Dr Gominak was an on call Neurologist for the hospital when my mother was admitted. Before she even met my mother or had any prior knowledge of symptoms or her history, she came with a clip board and articles. We could not even finish telling her what was going on and she pulls an article off of her clip board regarding sleep deprivation and lack of vitamin D. Keep in mind that my mother was unable to speak, write, walk, or even recognize people she knew. 80-90 % of us are low in vitamin D and we are able to function properly. She prescribed her vitamin D and released her. Of course I had many second opinions scheduled for her. Now 8 months later we have a diagnosis of Sarcoidosis, a fairly rare auto immune disease. The irony in this... when a patient has Sarcoidosis they are to stay away from vitamin D and she had been taking large quantities for almost 8 months now. So for those of you who would like a reasonable diagnosis, I would suggest choosing a different doctor.

Dr. Gominak is an outstanding doctor. She is very knowledgable. I have never met someone who does as much research as she does. She is open to what you think and not afraid to go outside the box if needed. She calls us months after seeing her to tell us she went to a seminar and to try this. She has gone above and beyond with us. Highly highly recommend this doctor!
