Dr. Stefanie N Goldstein, PsyD

As I’m not the youngest chick in the nest, I was slightly hesitant about working with Dr. Goldstein. Would she be able to relate to where I am in my life? I’m so grateful I kept an open mind. I found her ability to really listen to me, to ‘see’ me and then support me in coming to my own awareness about how I was holding onto thoughts and ideas that didn’t serve me well, has been super impactful. She’s helped me navigate growing older with a much better attitude and a more positive outlook.

Dr. Stefanie Goldstein developed and taught a highly effective, thoughtful, and usable mindfulness curriculum at my child's school. This program, along with her keen ability to connect with children and parents alike, has given us usable skills that we use in our home daily. Dr. Goldstein is knowledgeable, professional, authentic, warm, approachable, and effective. She is masterful at cultivating safe spaces to work through difficult issues with compassion and confidence. Our family has learned and grown so much from her guidance and wisdom. We are eternally grateful for her!

Dr Goldstein has supported me for over 5 years. I find her to be authentic, calming, and a great source of wisdom. She is both a great listener while also offering gentle, non-judgmental advice. She’s not afraid to challenge you which I think is great. It is not unusual for something that she said to me in a session will become a mantra that I repeat back to myself for weeks or months ahead, offering me grounding and support even when not in session. I have appreciated that she has been able to offer a wide range of guidance for me, from more mundane parenting / leadership stress, to intense topics like codependency recovery, accepting the addiction in my family, divorce, etc… and somehow staying hopeful and positive throughout some very challenging times. I imagine she would be great with youth and especially teenagers as well. And I love the ways she folds mindfulness into her therapy, I didn’t know to “look” for that in a therapist but it has absolutely added resilience and benefit… to my life. In addition to being more committed to my own self-worth, I’m confident that I’m a better parent, friend and business owner because of the work I have gotten to do with Dr G. So grateful!

I worked closely with Stefanie throughout the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. She is compassionate, intuitive, kind, and professional. She's really good at analyzing what's going on and getting to the heart of the matter, and she always reminds me to have self-compassion. I trust her judgement and I'm grateful for her role in my life.

The counseling profession is a abusive joke. I have flashbacks and instincts to self harm around this woman’s two year reinjury of me. Academic narcissism ( an expensive degree with a lack of functionality and non medical training) paired with institutional non-accountability brings out the sociopaths. I definitely saw this in Stefanie Goldstein. I have her negligence and reinjury of me documented and am recovering from her exploitation and incompetence in relation to my healthcare situation. She had two weeks to look up my healthcare condition on the Internet and failed to do so. Stefanie gave me the opposite of the proper clinical care while giggling about her institutional non-accountability. I have not left the house for seven years for social or work and have had to go back on disability. Still working through the trauma with Stefanie with members of the mindfulness community and Jewish community. Some of whom know Stefanie. Not recommended.… Please see a Functional Medicine or an integrative healthcare professional. Counselors typically don’t respect suffering or the illness they seem to perpetuate and reinjure. Stefanie falsely advertises herself as a trauma-specialist but she is really a top down counselor who is trauma-insensitive. Somatic trauma care for more compounded trauma is different than top down counseling. Cranial sacral also helps. Top down counselors like Stefanie are props for the bigger pharmaceutical agenda in the system. Stefanie is negligent , unskillful and arrogant about abuse of institutional power. Stay away.
