Unsatisfied with IOP discharge appointment. This was to be a virtual appointment. The link was sent to my child with the time listed to be UTC. My child did not know what UTC meant and logged in at the wrong time, missing the appointment. There was no attempt made from the provider to inform me of the missed appointment or attempt to reschedule. I had to send an email requesting a proper discharge appointment. Received a phone call, from provider, within 10 minutes of sent email. She requested to speak to my child and did so for a total of 3 minutes. I listened along to the conversation. The provider poorly attempted to address an issue, basically said you?ll figure it out and good luck then ended the call. Very unprofessional way to discharge a child from an IOP. This left me feeling like the program was just a waste of time and money, with no concern for the patient.
