Dr. Stephanos Paraskevas Orphanidis, MD

Due to an injury at work, I had to go to the Emergency Room on Oct 16th. The pain in my upper neck, back, and shoulder was unbearable. When I was taken in to se Dr. Stephanos Orphandis I noticed the bed that he wanted me to lay on was at an inclined position. There was absolutely no way I could sit in that position so I asked if he could lower the bed so that I could lay on my side. He looked at me and rolled his eyes as though the request was silly. At that time, the only position I could lay in that somewhat lessened the pain was in the fetal position and on my left side. He only asked me a couple of questions and did not perform a thorough exam. It was as though he either hated his job, or simply did not want to be there. Finally he told me there was nothing wrong. I found out 2 days later that I had a dislocated rib in my upper back, and I had to have it popped back in. Not only was Dr. Stephanos Orpandis extremely rude, but he misdiagnosed me as well. When it came time for… him to sign my C4 for workers comp, he refused. Fortunately, I have a diagnosis from 2 other physicians that contradict Dr. Orphandis' conclusions.

Doctor left my wife in agony in the ER on the 14th into the 15th. She had to have her jaw manually closed under conscious sedation. She waited for the Dr to come back in her room for 30 minutes after the procedure but he never did. Finally close to the hour mark she asked the nurse for something for the pain. The nurse came back and told her that he said no, but she can have a ice pack. How was that decision made without physically checking on my wife himself? He lacks the caring, understanding, sympathy, and empathy to be a doctor, let alone a ED doctor. A formal complaint has been made against him

If you have the unfortunate luck of this doctor coming to you in a hospital, immediately demand another doctor and do not let him touch you! I was unfortunate to see him. He seen me for 5 minutes. I spent 9 hours vomiting in waiting room of St. Rose Sienna. Once I got called back, he gave me an IV and potassium pills to swallow, although I’m still puking. My mom took the pills and he sent me on my way. I was extremely misdiagnosed by Dr. Stephanos Orphanidis. Him, along with Other doctors have misdiagnosed me as well. So far for 2018, I have lost $13,000 in income. My husband had to quit his 2nd job to be my care taker, losing 22,000 a year. I have been diagnosed and am receiving the right care. Now back to this doctor. He received over $1300 from my insurance to give me an IV and potassium pills I couldn’t take but I was extremely low on potassium. That’s my disorder btw. Why not an IV of potassium. Anyways, for $300 he sued me and now I have to pay him over $1000. That’s nice since… he misdiagnosed me, got way more than deserved and gets to gloat in a victory against an extremely ill public school teacher. You are a disgrace to the Greek people, as my blood is Greek. You are also a disgrace to this medical community. I don’t know who you think you are or why you are so greedy. Why would you only give me 4 months to pay the money when I explained I haven’t got a paycheck in 2 months? I guess you think you can misdiagnose, patient can’t work due to incompetent doctor’s misdiagnosis and incompetent doctor gets paid in full for a job only partially done. Too bad Mrs. Gregory isn’t running St. Rose anymore. Her husband and my dad go back over 30 years in this city. She would NEVER allow an incompetent, narcissist doctor like you to practice in a non profit hospital. Shame on you.
